Alternate title: ‪@loub747‬ gets caned!!
In this epic adventure, Dave and Jeremy catch a flight from Chicago to San Francisco, followed by a 17 hour flight, via Delta Airlines, across the Pacific to Southeast Asia, to explore the wildlife of Singapore, which is located in the Malayan Peninsula.
We finally arrived at the world renowned, Changi Luxury Airport at 8:00am "Singapore time" and checked into the Hotel 81 Premier Star Hotel before heading straight to Sungei Buloh Wetlands, home of the giant river otters, king cobras, Asian water monitors, saltwater crocodiles, shore pit vipers and the bizarre mudskipper! Not only were we able to see amazing wildlife, the area also provided a spectacular view of Malaysia across the Straits of Johor.
Our next stop was the Thomson Nature Park to search for blue coral snakes, flying tree snakes, macaque monkeys, equatorial spitting cobras and Wagler's pit vipers. The following day we visited Bukit Timah Nature Reserve, where the last remaining primary rainforest in Singapore is located. Lastly, we visited the beautiful mangrove habitat at Pasir Ris. All of these different areas are easily accessible by using the MRT Rail System. The trains run every few minutes from early morning to 11:00pm.
What an unforgettable experience! We met some amazing people, saw beautiful architecture; ate delicious Asian food and drank lots of Chinese coffee, all the more reasons why we will plan another trip to this amazing country!

Not gunna lie, I got jet lag just from your 44 hours on the planes. Sheesh. Worth it though, some insane finds. Glad Lou survived the cane beating. Someone has to keep him in line with all of his "promises".

Looking back, I think caning Lou would have been better than finding a male Wagler's. He probably wouldn't have been able to sit in that pilot seat for a few months, giving us time to catch up to him on all the dang herps he finds on his trips! 😂

8:45 About the "difficulty."..... It's like looking for sharks teeth on the beach. Once you develop "an eye," they STAND OUT.

I'll be landing in Bangkok in 6 days. I know how long those flights across the Pacific are. Of course I tapped the 👍 to feed the algorithm monster.

Wtf, Lou didn't get caned, I'm unsubscribing! LOL, just a joke. That looked like a dope ass trip. I wish I could have been there. Thanks for the video. Catch you on the flip-side. Richard from Arkansas

Thanks for commenting R & H. Yeah, Lou nearly invested in a padded seat for the long flight home but we let him off the hook since we ended up finding the male Wagler's! We need to herp Arkansas, lots of cool snakes out there. I drove through on my way to Texas last year but I didn't have a chance to herp!
We found 80 snakes in 2 hours herping the grass prairie!!
