I haven't been on a cruise yet, but this looks so cozy and fun! I really want to do an Alaskan cruise sometime, I hear they are magical!

It can be expensive for solo cruise travel, but bargains can be found and you should totally try it. Its a great way to see many locations without spending so much time in airports catching flights from country to country. Our tip, find someone to cruise with to share the cost. And if you're in the UK, check out cruises that depart from London, Liverpool, Southampton to the Mediterranean or just around the British Isles. Some 4 or 5 day ones can be cheaper and good value for money when you consider that the cost will cover your accommodation, meals, snacks, and the entertainments. And in the US, there are real bargains too, particularly on older smaller ships rather than the new huge floating theme park type ones you commonly see advertised. Anyway, that's all food for thought and ideas to consider.
