I am from AP but have been living abroad for a very long time. I used to fly to Hyderabad (old and new airports) whenever I visited my hometown in AP. However, after the state divided (for reasons only god knows), I am flying to Vijayawada via Delhi.

Sir, i love hyderabad Airport. The only concern is that new terminals are very from security checks, and aged people may be a little tired to walk almost half a kilometer to their gates

Good to talk about airport, but connectivity with city transport is also important. Today it takes about 4 hours from home to aircraft in Hyderabad. Also there are 12 checkpoints for passengers to go through. This much of harangue is not worth for domestic travel. It is to be noted that old and frequent travelers are now reverting to train. As air transport is becoming more popular, its integration with rail and bus should be addressed properly without which it will become a white elephant.

Kindly ask him why there's no rail connectivity despite nearest railway station just 6 kms away for over a decade. And please ask him to stop giving airport metro plans , that's not going to happen for atleast 5 years.

This Airport is stopping all new Airport plans in Telangana, saying They are within 150kms from Hyderabad airport. Its Pacca Bania airport,who wants no competition from other airports. Nizam period airport at Warangal is closed because of GMRao of Hyderabad airport.

GMR is a private company which constructed this airport. So they need more passengers to travel so that they can recover the money. Warangal Airport is within 150kms and hence not viable. But that is also not an ideal location for Warangal. Instead of that govt. should plan new green field airport between Warangal-Karimnagar.......probably near Hizurabad. 1. It will be approx 160+ KM from RGIA 2. It will be mid point between two tier 2 cities. About 40km away 3. It will help both Warangal and Karimnagar to become as twin cities and next Pune for Telangana

The claim of sophistication is highly bloated. This airport, removes the baggage from the conveyor belt and throws them on the floor, forcing the passengers to search for theirs colliding with each other. Why this , absurdity? The reply , very clearly says , the conveyor belt is unable to take the load. So it runs on Juggard, . Why can't they re engineer the belt mechanism. Instead of making it ease to collect ,a conflict situation is created . Another ,irritating thing is discourteous staff,from the airline side. Very disgusting. The most sincere and professional , are the CISF personnel.
