You forgot something: kayaking gives you much video material, and you then have a blast editing awesome videos for us. :)

haha that's a good one! I enjoy editing videos but sometimes I get really lazy.. also sometimes I just want to paddle without recording to I can have a more relaxed trip. It's a good balance though

It's nice for you to spell out in words so clearly and descriptively.👏 Since your mentioning of Vitamin D, may I also add Calcium. Not just essential to growing up, it's also getting noticed for adults and growing old, due to raising alarms of Osteoporosis in recent years. I just learned of it less than a year ago -- no matter how much calcium intake one had such as milky products, our bodies could not absorb it without exposing to the Sun, and which were much more often during COVID-19 pandemic).😷 In English, pastimes were often called as "killing times", so I guessed, less time for over-eating, phone-gaming, drinking, horse-racing or Mahjong, etc.🤪 It's resonating for you to take note of Social Benefits as now less human contact within cities as well as not talking to one another often within a family or a couple in the Digital age.🤨

I agree 100% with everything you said. Kayaking had been a lifelong dream that I only recently found the ability to engage in. I regret not starting in my youth, but I have brought my children into it and hope they find all the joy you mentioned, I know I have. Kudos on another excellent video, this one not only has great camera work but it touched my heart!
@Fishaholicboy2 жыл бұрын
Like people say, it's never too late and some people don't even start. It's even better your children had the chance to start early :) I always wanted to kayak too but always didn't have the space to store them. It's only because of the folding or modular kayaks that it gave me the opportunity to try this activity, which I knew I would fall in love with. I'm also sure there are another 1,000 benefits of kayaking but these are just a few :)

Very nicely put! The list and the images just make one feel like taking one's kayak - or whatever other kind of boat -, or buying one, and going to the water.

Excellent ten points, especially reducing stress! I wish I had started kayaking at your age, not wait till I retired 😃

I agree Chad and would add, balancing. When walking, riding a bike or kayaking, you're balancing. It's subconscious to the point that you're unaware of doing it. But you're using muscles subtly that add to your fitness. Then also, if you're someone that likes hauling junk, you'll love kayaking. In hiking and cycling, you're limited to how much junk you can carry. But you can easily take all the things in a kayak to make the day a pleasant one. Great video.

That’s such a good one that I didn’t even consider and I completely agree with you! I think for me it was something that I took for granted. Great one!

Right on...I couldn't agree more to the awesome big 10. I think it's one of the most beneficial passive recreational activities that one can do. It puts us in the natural environment and connects us with life.... SUPER VIDEO...THANKS

The places you paddle are awesome.. It's nature at its best. It's even better when the water is clear like the rivers you paddle in

Hi and thanks, Fishaholicboy for sharing. Every kayaking trip is different in weather, winds, currents, tides, and so on. My passion is wildlife encounters in which I never see the same sea creatures in the same spots. The hardest part is deciding "No Go" for safety measures even if I am anxious to kayak. Well said, Fishaholicboy!!! 🙋♀🙋♀🛶🛶

That's a good point! One of the benefits is definitely seeing wildlife.. unfortunately I don't get to see much over here but I can imagine you get the chance to see some gorgeous wildlife over there!

Great video. You hit them all my friend. My favourites out of your Top 10, one is distressing. There's something about being on a clam lake that just relaxes you. The other is connecting with nature. Where I go I get to see some wildlife, beavers which by the way are a lot bigger than I thought. I see deer and their babies, muskrats and just yesterday I saw a beautiful white swans on the water and watched it skim along the water with such grace. These birds are huge!!. It was obviously it was full grown and from what I read it was around 1.5 meters (59 inch) in length and up to 15kg (33 lbs) in weight. These are the 2 from you list of Top 10 benefits I experience most. Thanks for sharing and happy kayaking. 😀🚣♂🚣♂

Those two points you mentioned is exactly what my wife said when she first tried kayaking for the first time. She said she now understood why I kept going out to kayak. It's amazing you get to see awesome wildlife.. I wish I could see more of what you see over here!
