I did carry on only to Sweden, Denmark and Norway and found it to be easier packing when traveling to the colder countries. Nobody sees what you're wearing underneath your coat, so go for merino wool pants, merino wool t-shirt or long sleeve and focus on the items that will keep you warm - your outer, waterproof coat, warm hat, warm leggings, etc. Cant wait to hear about your trip and highly recommend the Floibanen funicular in Bergen, Norway and the Vasa Museum in Stockholm, Sweden. Best trip in my lifetime! I think you're going to love it!!!!!

I will always take a skort and a sweatshirt regardless because I can't tell you how many times the weather changed and I wished I had one or the other. And a swimsuit, of course. 😊 I love a good capsule, you did a great job!

Stella Parker is a dupe for a more luxurious brand. Fun prints. I get them from JCP or directly from their website. I get compliments when I wear them but I think it’s because they think it’s the more expensive brand.

I like the Pragma Style bag, I have it, but it's just a little smaller than necessary. Also, really hate there is no zipper compartment on the front. Also, the tablet compartment could be padded.

I bought the pragma style V bag a while back. I wanted to love it but it’s just so clunky and way too heavy. The zipper is also low quality and feels awkward to use and the water bottle pockets are all but useless. The front ‘hidden’ pocket is also useless unless you have tiny hands and don’t mind fishing for your gear until you find what you want as you can’t actually open it to look in there and see what you want. The flight attendant that designed it had good intentions but unfortunately she severely missed the mark on this one.

I don't really have a high opinion of flight crew designing travel items. They travel completely differently to regular people (certainly nothing like me). All the travel gear designed by flight crew I've ever seen is a hard pass for me and I've given up watching travel advice videos by flight crew too - never get any tips I can use

My family is in Denmark and it is super casual there, bordering on schlumpy. 😮 Comfort is key as well as big, soft scarves for the wind. Pack layers you can mix and match and a good rain jacket and your favorite walking shoes.

I like your video. I counted 12 pieces each time you showed your choices for your capsule wardrobes, not 8 or 9. Those 3-4 extra pieces make a big difference in the amount of clothing items and the number of outfits one can create. Did you intend to say we only need 8 or 9 items?

Nope, I don't believe in taking denim travelling anymore. It's just too heavy and too bulky. I have become a big fan of button down shirt dresses - so versatile. Can do full or half tuck into bottoms (so it's a shirt), wear as dress, wear half buttoned over tights + slim fit top, fully unbuttoned so it's a kimono, can even wear as a beach cover. This is a capsule wardrobe workhorse. (Although a button down shirt is very versatile too - but I don't like to do the boring pinstripe with collar)
