The only thing a lot of the sites are under construction. for the Olympics. BEST ROUTE EVER like i said, it put me at ever site i wanted to see. The Lourve was closed on the Tuesday i walked but i was able to see the filming of the walking dead, DARLY's show. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU.!!!!!! TAKE THE ROUTE PEOPLE.

France is so refreshing. It really looks like they are living in the 16th century and all with these architecture type of building and monuments . Very poetic.

Thank you for sharing. We plan to go sometime this year, but still trying to decide on a place to stay that is within walking distance of the main attraction. I'm traveling with kids so trying to look for kid-friendly hotels. thank you!

Have fun! Paris is one of my favorite places, the older I get I find that I really appreciate the beauty of buildings of Paris. Especially the Eiffel Tower!!!! We stayed at hotel indigo by the opera house nice hotel.

Hi Aileen I was thinking more about your comment on where to stay. There is a Holiday Inn near the Notre Dame Cathedral. This is in the Latin quarter, we have stayed there. You might want to check into this not very expensive for Paris and a nice hotel- Holiday Inn Paris - Gare de Lyon Bastille, an IHG Hotel. In a Haussmann-inspired belle epoque building on a tree-lined street, this classic hotel is 280 m from Gare de Lyon train station, 650 m from the banks of the Seine river, and 3 km from the Pompidou Center. Modest rooms come with minibars, flat-screen TVs and free Wi-Fi. Upgraded rooms offer coffeemakers and complimentary drinks, while suites add city views, and living rooms with pull-out sofas. Room service is available. There's a laid-back cocktail bar, along with 6 meeting rooms. A breakfast buffet is available for a fee.

@@scottsdaletravelchick You are very welcome. Is it possible for you to share an ordered list of the average time you spent at the sites you visited?
@scottsdaletravelchick2 жыл бұрын
Hi Ruthven Basically very little at the major sights (Louve, catacombs, etc) but sufficient at the outdoor sights like the gardens, etc. This ‘tour’ is something you can do yourself to get a feel for the city and what it has to offer - then you pick the things you want to go back and spend more time at. Or, you can do sections over multiple days and take your time at each…!

Do you currently have to be vaccinated? Recently recovered from Covid but not vaccinated. Thank you
@scottsdaletravelchick2 жыл бұрын
At the time we went in November we had to show our vaccine card to most restaurants. I remember when we were in the train station they asked to see our passports & vaccine card. Things may have changed since then.
