Paris Walking Tour | Latin Quarter and Notre Dame

In today's video, we are taking another day trip from London and visiting Paris with Romain from Love My Paris for a Paris walking tour.
We begin our tour on Place Saint Michael on the banks of the Seine on the edge of the Latin Quarter and St. Germain. We will head immediately into the Latin Quarter, the sector most associated with Roman Paris, to explore its narrow ancient streets and to visit the remains of a Roman bathhouse.
Next, we will take a walk inside of the medieval Church of Saint-Severin, one of Paris’s most overlooked treasures. We will then get a taste of 1920s literary Paris with a stop at Shakespeare and Co. bookshop, once the haunt of literary greats such as Gertrude Stein, James Joyce, and Ernest Hemingway.
Leaving the Latin Quarter behind, we will cross the Seine to the Ile de la Cite for a quick visit to arguably Paris’s most treasured landmark, Notre Dame.
Finally, we will explore the northern part of the island, including a former palace used by French kings, and end on the Pont Neuf, Paris’s oldest bridge.

Merci Romain, bien fait, beaucoup de bonnes infos. Un conseil: donne les noms des endroits systématiquement: nom français, suit de nom anglais. Ex: "Place Saint Michel, or Place of Saint Michael" ("place" s'entend en anglais) o "l'église de saint julien le pauvre, or the church of saint julian the poor." D'entendre le nom en français premier aide, suit d'anglais, peut aider un visiteur comprendre son plan, etc. Merci encore.

You need to learn how to pronounce the names and places in English. Some people may assume you are pronouncing correctly and they learn wrong.
