What's the difference between Incognito mode and disable discovery? It sounds like they do the same thing.. Instead of paying for gold/platinum to have incognito mode, can I enable discovery, swipe rigt on whoever I like, then turn discovery off (so that no one can see me until I turn it back on) and whoever I liked (when I had discovery on) can see my Like and match with me, and I'll still be able to see the match and start messaging with them? Tinder FAQ says that people I had like MAY be able to see me... (It doesn't say that they WILL be able to see me...) So I'm confused...

Do you know if it's possible to create a new account and be in incognito mode RIGHT FROM THE START? Meaning that you NEVER show your photos unless you like someone first? The problem I see is that when you create a new (free) account, you first have to upload photos of yourself, and once you've created the account and your profile is out in the open for users to see, ONLY THEN can you upgrade to Gold or Premium and use the Incognito feature! Oops - too late!! - your photos have already been seen by active users... :P So wanted to know whether there was a way to START OFF in incognito so that your photos are NEVER seen by anyone you haven't first chosen yourself. Any idea?

Just to clarify, Tinder requires users to upload at least one photo during the account creation process. This is a fundamental step to create a profile and start using the app. Incognito mode is a feature included in the Tinder Plus and Tinder Gold subscription plans and is not available as an in-built feature when creating a Tinder account. Therefore, right after creating a Tinder account, users operate with a standard, public profile. To access Incognito mode, you'll need to subscribe to Tinder Plus or Tinder Gold post-account creation.

ok, so to answer my question: Am I right to understand that there is NO WAY to create an account without your (minimum of 2) photos showing in the tinder platform (even if we are only talking about those 10-15 minutes until you upgrade from the free version to gold or platinum?? @@TinderIndia

also, isn't "enable discovery" the opposite of "incognito"? (with incognito nobody can find you unless you like them first, and with enable discovery people can find you...). So if they do the opposite thing, how is it that you can have both of them turned on in your settings??@@TinderIndia
