Very much enjoyed this one, particularly the beautiful rolling landscape of Indiana. I'm happy to hear it was as warm and friendly as it was lovely. I especially love seeing those old churches along the way.

Another great video of middle America. That Red Hill State Park might of tempted me to stay another day. You make a great team together. Take care, Al

Thanks Al! Yes, sadly, it got harder and harder to find good campsites as we got further east. This was a gem.

You're in my home territory. I grew up in Lawrenceville. Looks like a terrific trip.

I've just got back from my own adventure riding up the Pacific Coastal Highway. Since I got back a couple of days ago I've binged watched a load of your past episodes I've and it's brought back some great memories of my own trip. This is a wonderful video with some beautiful scenery and a reminder of just how much I still have to explore in the USA. Maybe next year!!

Wow the PCH! Quite the accomplishment. Used to live in CAlif. and drive it often. Not much of a shoulder is there? Glad you made it safely.

@@juliannahenley4921 It was a bit sketchy in places. Especially around the Big Sur. I only rode the section from San Diego to San Francisco and not all the way to Seattle. An amazing ride.

A whole lotta scenery out there on the west coast. Never gets old! Yeah, the US has an endless amount of possibilities. But we're heading for France this year, I think.

Thank you so much! We've talked about coming back to the hill country with our road bikes, someday.

Hola Roland and Julianna...great videos...Roland, I was wondering if that little wider piece of cloth on your left side helmet strap is to block the wind?
@TheBicycleTourists Жыл бұрын
I assume those would be Cat Ears, I think they call them, I put them on the straps when it's particularly windy, really cuts down on the noise (and in the winter, keeps your ears warmer by blocking the wind). Little simple velcro things but they do a great job.

Looks like Frontage Road has been resurfaced since you were on it 3 years ago.

Well that's good to hear! That stretch needs a path for bikes, the highway is a bit intense.

Nice countryside but not impressed with some of the road conditions, but, when cycling you never know what you'll find. Those grated bridges are bad enough when dry, hate them when wet.
@TheBicycleTourists2 жыл бұрын
Yep, you have to take the bad conditions along with the good.
