Just bought the Savinelli Oceano from you. As soon as I saw it, I had to have it. Can't afford some of the other beauties being 100% medically retired from the Army. But this is a fantastic collection! Do you sanitize them?

First of all, thank you for your service. Second, thank you for picking up a pipe, I’ll have it in the mail today. I ream the chamber, sanitize the bit, and give each a light polish. Sometimes I fix loose stems, remove rim darkening, etc if it would facilitate a sale. For all intents and purposes, they come smokeable. However, I don’t do salt baths, oxi-clean, or anything like that. It would be pretty time consuming to give each pipe a full refurb. I recommend cleaning it to your satisfaction.

He taught me everything I know about "simple " refurb work and sanitizing. I don't know anything about cracked bowl or stem repair. I'm looking forward to contributing to the community.
