We met up with Nica a local who showed us some secret places surrounding Martvii Canyon. Georgia has already shown us many surprises but we didn't expect canyons & waterfalls like we discovered in Martvili.
After driving up and down the worst mountain roads we've been on during our van life adventures, we wake up and discover a big problem. Is it the end of our Georgian van life trip?

Martvelli is stunning place,near by you got a cave complex with ancient traces of dinosaurs. But for me this place remind me of lord of the rings,especially if you do the canoe trip.

When he said you can fish here I would of liked to know the name of the fish in that body of water. I also would like to know what fishes are offered in restaurants. Want to know similar to the States or different. The few times you ate fish you only said it is really good. That does not provide information.

I can answer you, they eat trout ,very common there. But in Tbilisi you have a big supermarket with living fish. Trout,carp and sturgeon . But most eaten fish i know is mackerel from Black sea. But Georgian people are meat lovers so fish is not eaten so much.
