Stone cold for sure omg.... I had 3 winter jackets on...seriously...3 jackets!!! It's when the wind hits your face and your eyes water- should have worn my ski goggles!
@leslieprather2611 Жыл бұрын
I wear my ski clothes. It helps with the wind and cold. But that's a great idea wearing the ski goggles to keep your eyes from watering so much. I'm going to try it! Thanks for the tip. I don't know why I didn't think about that before. Rock on girl we will be the only ones on the river wearing goggles. Maybe we'll start a trend!

I was NOT expecting those water lines at 5:52, that was cool. And that green edge at 12:00 too! That first piece of japerized/agatized pet wood was just nuts, that was more colorful than the rainbow wood that comes from Arizona. And then you found another one!! That one looks like it had started to rot a bit before it petrified. Great show, glad to see you back again. Stay warm.

Wow, My Head is exploding... I find myself pausing on every shot you show of the ground ( have paused over 100 times) and staring at all the rocks that i would pick up that you seem to let lay there. Maybe it is because you are used to seeing that kind of rock on a daily basis. Here on the coast just south of Boston, we don't have any mineralizations like this here. I would need a dumptruck for the amount of rock I would be bringing home :-D Would love to come out there and go rockhounding with you and that beautiful dog Chopper some day.

I know what you mean...Some of the gravel beds here you could just sit down in one spot and look through the rocks for quite a long time. Trust me, I want to pick up so many more than I do! I miss a lot of good ones that I see when I'm watching the video too! The sun can be blinding and sometimes you focus in on one rock and miss what's right next to it. I love color, I love banding and I love patterns. But best of all, I like going out and feeling like I might find the coolest rock I've ever found that day...just waiting out there to be found! The air is so fresh, the hiking makes me smile. Life is good when you're out on a treasure hunt 😉
