This must be private property and east of Sidney? Yep 👍

What is the big deal about diamonds anyway? These gorgeous jaspers and agates are far more beautiful, intricate and interesting than any diamond. Give me a jasper or an agate any day; they make diamonds seem boring by comparison.

Have you slabbed that green jasper yet? Would love to see what you made with it. My daughter found a small piece of the same hue and i made a few pendants out of it. Hope to trip over some more soon.

Do you have a setup to do this in the winter months inside? Here in Ohio (like where you are) it gets way to cold to be wet polishing outside. Love to see an inside setup.

I realize that this video is 4 years ago. I only recently found your channel and I have to say Kim, it’s wonderful. YOU are wonderful. I love this video because it’s so authentic to what so many of us understand. I love your videos for many reasons. You and Chopper first, the beautiful, amazing treasures you find, the landscape, the fun of getting in the water/dirt/mud, and even the way you film. Mostly I just love watching someone I relate to, doing the thing I love so much. Thank you for sharing your adventures. Lately I’ve been going through a lot and I’m not able to rockhound due to physical limitations. Waiting on surgery. But there’s other stuff, too. And being able to vicariously enjoy the hunt, the discovery, the JOY of finding a new rock friend, it’s….priceless. I’m so grateful to you and the few other rockhounding I follow closely for sharing your experiences. It’s entertaining no doubt. Mostly though, it’s comforting. Thank you!! With love from Michigan, Annie ✨

Jasper petrified wood quartz agate rock... lol I get the feeling nobody knows what they are talking about on the internet, so it helps them to feel better about it when they call the same rock all of the rock names combined.

You are amazing Kim! Love your channel and always ready to go along with you on your adventures! Like you I collected rocks long before I knew what kind of rocks I was collecting lol. Learning to make wire wrapped jewelry opened a whole new world of finding rocks! I love it and can back you up on how peaceful it is to get out in nature and how you can clear your mind of hurtful things and find the beauty in great memories of those we have lost. You are an inspiration and joy!

I'm so sorry, Kim. Please take it easy and do exactly what the doctor says. This advice comes from someone with a titanium spine now. Literally titanium. So, respectfully, please take this advice as it's intended - with loving respect for you and your talents. So, Rock On, girl! Prayers for fast and painless healing!

Hello Montana Rock Mom, this is the third video of your's that I've watched. I have a few techniques that may help your findings. The first is something I recommend to every rock hound, carry an estwing gad-pry, it's an unbelievably useful tool. Put a larger diameter handle on your 5gal field buckets, I use orange or white buckets because they're easier to spot from a distance. Flip every large rock you see, inspect it's surfaces as well as the stones beneath, an artifact hunter's trick, but it pays off all the time. Snatch all "pretty" rocks, I noticed the quality at home is lower than in the field, I beat this trend by increasing my quantity, unseen quality always shows up on the home end of the trips after making this shift in perspective. You can always toss the roughs into the garden, thus increasing your property.
