Hey myth & mystery lovers! A quick point of clarity: the idea of Saturn being connected to Enlil is from a broader comparative mythology lens, not Mesopotamian mythology proper. It stems from the idea that Enlil and Kronos (from Greek mythology) have a number of traits in common, and Kronos is often connected to Saturn. Mesopotamian mythology and their connection of deities to stars gets a little hazy: depending on the time period and region, connection of a specific god to a planet could vary. Even Ea/Enki being connected to Mercury varied amongst traditions, but there is more precedent for it from Mesopotamian mythology proper than there is for Enlil's connection to Saturn. The theory on Nibiru I present here is just one possible theory, but there's many explanations that could fit (a rogue planet the Annunaki came from isn't one of them, sadly). I primarily derive my theory from the Enuma Elish's Tablets V and VII. As always, we're dedicated to bringing you a logical, yet speculative approach to myth and mystery that's grounded in facts and truth! Looking forward to your thoughts.
