Well, we are talking about the faction that tried to use the Ark of the Covenant to “control God” but look how that turned out lol 😂. Same thing goes for trying to use Jesus’s cup for immortality but again that backfired. So, in conclusion three times(including this game of course) the Germans tried to use Bible items for world domination but backfires. I’m pretty sure at this point God is like: “you fools are just a glutton for punishment aren’t you?”

at 25:10 there have a ark screen flash pass, maybe some bug but looks like ark in Antarctica just match in concept art, delete contents part. in fact there have ending 2 for this game after solved iraq wall puzzle( full of holes need use artefact to fill), you will teleport into Antarctica and meet ark again.
