Wow, the fall colors in the Eastern Sierra look amazing! 🍂 Those golden aspens with the mountains in the background are just next level. I’ve always heard about Convict Lake and June Lake, but seeing them in peak fall is just a whole other vibe. Thanks for sharing all these beautiful spots - def makes me wanna visit soon! 🍁📸

I love this video for the beauty of the mountains, lakes and fall colors but mostly for the joy your son gets from throwing rocks into the lake.

What a great show of colors. I’d say that River is a born pitcher. Thanx for sharing a beautiful outing in the eastern Sierra Nevada.

Thank you! We’re so lucky to live in such a beautiful place. 🙏 River may end up being a baseball player…like his daddy was!

Gorgeous video, love it! My family took me camping from the time I was a baby, along with my older brothers. When mom and dad retired, they moved to the sierra foothills and we visited this area often (in their motorhome as they aged.) Such a gorgeous area, and love seeing it with your sweet family. 😊

Hey Scott I hope you are doing well ? I talked with you on your video before this one. And I had a few questions for you that you kindly responded. I changed my trail plans, I am planning on going out of Yosemite, Happy Isles trial, Sobo. Towards Tuolumne Meadows on the J M T then on to the Woods Creek Trail to Roads Ends Kings Canyon. Any feed back is highly appreciated. Thanks

Amazing video- the production gets better and better with each trip. One note though, and I will be that guy to point something out. For the safety of bears, please learn how to properly hang food. A fed bear is a dead bear, and that hang wouldn’t have stopped a 2 week old. I’m sure you heard of the bear that recently had to be killed because it became too comfortable around humans.

How should food and gear be hung where branches may be too high to reach, including heavy boxes of equipment which may contain scents?
@nickpike5581
@nickpike5581 Ай бұрын
really not trying to be combative, just really care about bears not getting killed. Doing this is the same reason you’re required to carry a bear can in many areas. Do a search for PCT bear hang. You would likely need to hang several bags to keep everything safe. Only food and scented items need to be hung, not the actual bin. Boondocking is great, but does require extra steps to keep a clean camp. Hope this helps 🤙🏼
