Discovering Posidonia Oceanica meadows EN

Discovering Posidonia oceanica seagrass meadows is a video comic with two nice fantasy characters: Posi and Donia. They are two tiny inhabitants of the Posidonia meadows and the mascots of the @LifeSEPOSSO ( @ISPRAVIDEO ). They speak to an audience of (not only) young people to tell about the peculiarities of this aquatic plant that creates a habitat of primary importance in Europe and one of the greatest biodiversity hotspots in the Mediterranean Sea.

Our fundamental goal with CYCLADES POSIDONIA ALERT campaign is to inform and sensitize boat/yacht owners, tourists, and the local population on the presence, importance, and vulnerability of the Posidonia meadows in the Cyclades and mitigate anchoring impact in the Cycladic islands.
