We have had the blessing of being able to spend collectively a couple of years (over many) in Sardinia. We love it. We spend most of our time on the West coast - a less known treasure.

Beautiful island.I am originally from northern Morocco and Sardinia reminds me a lot of it .I also adore sardines

Some things remind me of my youth in southern Spain (Andalucía) in the early 60s. We used to go to the beach in the late afternoon to buy those small fried fish from the fishermen. We also had suckling pigs roasted on wood exactly the same way as shown here. The shepherds visited our land twice per year asking to have their goats eating our grass. We would receive goat milk and herbs they had gathered during their travels in the region.

Also in countries of ex Yugoslavia (Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia, Montenegro, Macedonia we eat the same kind of suckling for new year and weddings!

sadly it will only be a matter of time before tourists and super yachts will bring pollution, plastic, drugs and anything else that can destroy this wonderous Island.
