In Casablanca, we embarked on an enthralling city tour that highlighted the magnificent Hassan II Mosque. Our journey continued in Tangier, Morocco, where we explored Tetouan's captivating sites, including the Royal Palace, an artisan school, and an archaeology museum, delving into the rich cultural heritage and artistic traditions of the region.

The mosque is truly stunning. You did an outstanding job videoing it. My first time in Morocco was in the late 1980s. We rented a car and drove around for two weeks. Always kept a large sack of olives with me.

The Mosque is absolutely incredible, it’s a wonder how they are constructed and how many people are involved. Love the architecture of Casablanca, a very nice port stop and amazing footage and editing as always 👏🕌🛳️

Just amazed by all the absolutely beautiful mosaics!! My dad came home with a carpet when he was in Cyprus with NATO. Indeed, I got stuck on a similar tour while in Bangkok...I was so disgusted I refused to get off the bus on two stops...voiced my concerns when I got back to the hotel and was promptly given back my money. We did get to the Grand Palace, but no where in the brochure was it mentioned that there would be several stops along the way at very expensive jewelry and rug shops. I would have needed to come back home with a mug of some sort from Casablanca for sure though!! Amazing sights!!

What an amazing Mosque! It’s very beautiful, even the bathing chambers. 39 Rugs? That’s insane! I’m so glad to hear you got a partial refund. Also, was the money exchange store part of the tour? 🤔 Great camera work as usual Bob!

Thank you! Hassan II was awesome. Ya… the rug fiasco, it was really bad. I don’t remember anything about a money exchange- we didn’t use one there as I recall. Glad you enjoyed the video!

We visited a mosque many years ago in Cairo, but it was nowhere near as ornate as the one you visited. That was quite a contrast between the old Casablanca and the new. Such a shame your tour was not up to expectations. Perhaps the cruise line will not include it in future cruises. Thanks for more interesting content.

Cairo would be amazing, Joan. I’d love to visit there. The Tetouan tour was indeed a disappointment- not for the locations though- just the manner of the carpet bit. I’d be fine with the tour staying on SB’s offerings, if they obtained a new tour provider.
