@@stonie3216 I'm a Brit and I can do it. I am sure you can too. I am in Hong Kong though and people here are the biggest introverts ever. They open up more when I break out the fluent Cantonese but a lot of the time they look uncomfortable. Just keep trying.

@@klg9549 Not sure about in Japan but I know some places in the US serve mixed drinks without the alcohol.

@@draagax Hong Kong does and they do things a lot like Japan in some regards, especially in the drink department. For example we have things like Strong Zero here and the bars when you go into the real drinking areas are much the same being stalls or small one room places.

It is because he shows desire to be in on their culture so they open up more. I get the same in Hong Kong. Most English teachers here just hang out in their little English communities and never get involved while I go out solo around the real areas of Hong Kong and talk to all the locals in full Cantonese. The show of effort goes a long way.

I would hope that one day you could do a local recording along with the live stream and then just put the overlay on your actual local recording so it's better quality, but I bet that is a lot of work.
