PoV video is weird, it's like a disembodied voice showing us around places when a big part of why I enjoy watching youtube is seeing people and their reactions. This is especially true in the case of yourself Pete since you love to act it up for the camera. I think it's ok to have some sections with PoV but the entire thing? Uhh... well I'm sure the video is great but it feels 'impersonal' at the 3min mark for me. Put yourself infront of the camera more, become more of a stage presence of the videos... you're walking around with a camera man and couldn't use any of their footage?

As a Canadian, I'm kinda freaking since there's few side walks. Worried about waking in the middle of an actual road, like how do you tell or is it like "hope nobody runs me over."

Waah! You're visiting beautiful Kobe! Kobe has around 1.7 Mio inhabitants which makes it the seventh largest city in Japan ^^ it's huge but because of it basically aligning with the coastal line, it's very walkable and might seem smaller than it actually is. On the plus side you have a beautiful mountain range and the bay accompanying you wherever you go. Nunobiki Herb garden has several thousands of herb kinds which switch all throughout the year so sth is in bloom whenever you visit and they produce lots of very delicate and cool products with them. (Also, I highly recommend going in June since they have sooo many roses, oh and the restaurant) I have lived in Kobe for a bit over a year and even if I would frame it as objectively as I can, it's easily one of my favourite places in Japan 🧡 it's rich in history, has so many ropeways going up hundreds of meters, the port area, the diverse culinary culture and of course its famous patisserie! ☺️ Friends from Yokohama always say it's similar to Yokohama but more romantic ^^ perfect for dates indeed!

Oooooh, I went to the Kobe Herb Gardens on a whim back in April, and it was easily the best random decision I made during my stay. Absolutely gorgeous park with an incredible view of Kobe, especially with the cherry blossoms in full bloom!

If this kid knew you from back in the day and you’ve had at least somewhat of the same demeanor since then, he shouldn’t be at all surprised that people that enjoy what you do are some coooool cattttsss! It would def be a lot more interesting if you would/should speak openly about that whole “being welcomed” part… It could really, really give someone the wrong impression if they are getting a cultivated view… Then again, maybe it’s not your job to do so, maybe we should try asking our mutual “David Attenborough’esk” like friends Mr. Broad to do something like that. Stay awesome my guy(s)!

The Joplin,MO mention at 12:34 just made my day! I was born, raised, and live in Joplin, I knew Pete was from KC, a place I visit all the time, but thst was cool. Been a big fan of Pete since early 2020. Pete you are a true thespian, a storyteller on par with the great Mark Twain himself, and have brought me countless hours of joy and levity. Thank you for all you do. Truly thank you. @PremierTwo

So you and Chris will be taking a ride together soon huh? 🤣 I’m surprised that Pete didn’t realize that Kobe isn’t a podunk town. I mean 1.5 million people. It’s not exactly backwoods.
