I love that they both each discovered rap on their own, and both wanted to be rappers starting in university. Music is so subjective from person to person. What sounds good to one person's ear, metal, country, classical, rap, etc. might not at all appeal to another person's ear. That they are twins and separately fell in love with rap music, is such a really interesting similarity I think. ^_^

I really loved the "brother" moments, but all of mom's touching him (hugging him, holding his hands) but most especially her touching his face so tenderly made me cry so much. This is a very moving situation. Thank you for sharing your experience with all of us. I hope God will bless you and your biological and your adoptive family. It is plain to see that BOTH were meant to have you in their lives and for you to have both families in your life.
@fvnt0miix9538 жыл бұрын
Yes it was very emotional, the family seems so nice to him! But my question is why did they abandon him in the first place? I assume they abandoned him which why he got adopted, right?
@angieng86338 жыл бұрын
Watch part 1 , the explaination is there. The bio dad made the decision to give Dan away for adoption cos he still needed medical attention. The doctors back then didnt know if Dan was going to recover or not, the family could not afford the large medical fees. Dan and his bro were born 2 months premature. The twin bro and the mum was recovering and could be discharged from hospital. That's also y the bio mum is so emotional, she wanted Dan back after her health got better but the adoption already went thru.
@hunterrific998 жыл бұрын
Dad made the choice-mom was unconscious and in critical condition. Finances were tough and they were premature. His brother was stronger, so he didn't have to stay as long as Dan would have to and thus his care would cost less. It's sad to think that this is how parents think in financial situations but it probably was better for him this way. His mom is crying a lot i think because she did not make that choice-it was made for her.

it seems that Dan's parents are very young. So they probably were young when the twins were born and had very little money. it must have been heartbreaking to give one's child away, but i understand they had to make the decision. I'm so glad they got to meet each other. many people wait too long and then it's too late.
@bulmak10 жыл бұрын
Yes, that's what the father said in his letter. I believe it was from the first or second part. It was the father who took the decision, he couldn't afford to raise twins and he put one for adoption. His mom didn't know about it till it was too late. She gave birth at home and pass out, when she woke up in hospital she found out about the adoption.

The mother's cry was so heart wrenching... I don't know if it is Dan himself or him being from the West, I can hardly see any emotions from him... Asians express themselves more freely than the Western people in my observation. He takes so much after his birth father. Giseong speaks very clear and good English because I have interacted with many native Koreans (who has not been English schooled massively) and only few can communicate with this ease. I am glad Dan found his birth family...

For the biological mother and the father might be heavy to see the twins together since they might think how it might have been if they grew up together.. I met in Denmark adopted Vietnamese twins who grew up together in a Danish family, but later on found out they had a one "twin brother" more in Vietnam aka they were part of triplets.. They also were united and it deffinately was emotional.
