We’re on the Carib princess in a balcony. Smallest one we’ve had. No couch or loveseat, which we get on all our royal & carnival cruises. We do all 3. Here, I put the desk chair in front of the balcony, for a place to sit.

We just stayed in one of these cabins in Alaska. Nice to have a fairly new ship to enjoy. My only remarks about the stateroom is I wish it had been a little wider. The space between the TV on the wall and the end of the bed wasn’t very wide. I cut my arm on the corner of the TV walking by it. Just be careful.😊

A suggestion if you need more plugs. I bring a couple of European adapters so I can have extra plugs. If you put a night light in the bathroom you will never have to turn on the light at night. I’m looking forward to my Love Boat cruise in October with the cast on board. I will have plenty of videos & still photos to share if anyone is interested.

Hello! I booked the same cruise for our next vacation. Interesting that my booking agent confirmed that since we only have a balcony suite, so we don’t have bath ropes nor slippers. Maybe this is a perk for you guys only?

Hello and thanks for watching! The answer to your question is yes, absolutely :) There was actually a big LGBTQ group onboard Discovery Princess in May. We haven't seen large cruise lines necessarily market to the LGBTQ demographic, but they definitely welcome it! I hope that helps!

Why would the door panel have the "Do Not Disturb" button on the outside of the room??? So easy for some jerk to just come along and set it to Do Not Disturb or Service!

Only you or the steward can change the buttons on the door panel. Princess was smart about that.
