The pool area you showed by the doors labeled "The Sanctuary" is NOT part of the Sanctuary. It is an adult only pool, that is open to everybody at no extra cost. There is also a bar there. You later mentioned the Retreat Pool which is the same pool referenced above and, again, is NOT part of the Sanctuary. The Sanctuary is an extra cost area with loungers and such but that pool is NOT part of the Sanctuary and is available as an adult only pool for ALL passengers with no extra cost. This is a fairly common misconception. The "upside" of this misconception is that a lot of folks think they would have to pay extra to use the pool which cuts down on the number of people there.

Although we were given a specific boarding time, we arrived a little bit earlier as we drove in for this cruise and they did allow us to board earlier than scheduled.

Princess has jumped to the top of my list in terms of the quality of their food and entertainment options. I’m finding that other cruise lines have cut back on these things ever since Covid.
