Sailed on the Explora ! last week. Be aware the OT1-4 cabins are small compared to the MSC Yacht Club Grand Deluxe balcony.. The ship is gorgeous but if you like Lite Beer like me and my wife, forget it, I got off at Cozumel and bought my own beer and had the Atrium bar keep it underneath for me. Also, I was not a fan of the no bottled water and carrying around a water bottle for them to fill up with Culligan water Had to beg for Pelligrino at the bars and restaurants. The food was outstanding at every single restaurant and we enjoyed them all. I spoke with a couple of officers and offered some ideas to deal with Americans and they seemed to care and listened. Dinner is too late, all the restaurants open at 6:30 and other than some light singing in the lobby bar there is no entertainment until 9:30 and 10PM. And even then it is nothing extraordinary I don't like theatrical shows on the larger ships but I do enjoy some comedy and musical bands. I understand Explora 2 has some entertainment at 5:30 which should be better. We had just come off the MSC Yacht Club Grand Deluxe balcony and at first were very underwhelmed with the Explora experience. The ship being so beautiful and the food so amazing made the trip very memorable but I did miss the Yacht Club as far as being able to go out to enjoy the amenities of the larger ship. We are doing Explora 2 at the end of January for 11 days and we will see what that trip will be like. We called ahead this time asking for the beer we like and pelligrino water in our cabin. I thought once we did Explora we would never want to do Yacht Club again but that is not the case. Looking forward to our next Yacht Club cruise.

We made a 9 day trip with the Explora 1 end of October '24 from Athene's - Corfu - Montenegro - Split - Kotor - Venice and more , it was amazing , next year definitely again only longer , this ship is PARADISE

2 Pools..ouch! seems VERY light for that ship! I cannot imagine that being good on a warm sunny sea day!

Diff. is you hitch broken down on the road or your car depleted on the road towing is a no no for EVs unless you just tow around 50 mile which makes no sense

I just got back from a 7 day cruise on discovery princess and I was not impressed at all. The good, check in and out was seamless, rooms were nice and beds were soft, GiGi's pizza, Salty dog, and the pizza place on the lido deck, other then that the ship has some work to do. The bad, they are very short staff and you have to wait for ever for a drink, the pool at the font of the ship was closed majority of the time, all of the bars close down except for one by 10-11pm. All the entertainment is done for by 10-11pm, except a DJ playing music at the one bar that is still open, the Irish pub is by far the worst place to eat at, the food and service is horrible. There is a band that plays there like 2 or 3 times a day and they play the same 3 or 4 songs over and over, all of the entertainment shows last anywhere from 15-45 min. Majority of the deserts are of mousse form, if you like that then that is fine but some people don't, the cakes are very dry and not moist at all. The food in the buffet was pretty good but could be much better, the food at the standard restaurants was good service was hit or miss. The causal dinning restaurants, only one that we liked was crown grill, the Italian place and Irish pub was horrible. We did not eat at the catch restaurant. You can smoke in the casino, guess that is good for people that smoke but the smoke comes out of the casino into the main areas and that was not very pleasant. Not enough entertainment on the boat for everyone, each show is very crowded, need to have multiple shows going on at one time to spread people out but that does not happen since they are so short staffed on the boat. If you use the medallion app to order food it take for ever to get your food, room service was always at least an hour. The medallion app and internet service was not good at all, the schedules on the app didn't always match the ship schedule that was delivered to your room, room service pizza is not the same pizza you get from the pool or GiGi's pizza, it was some microwaveable pizza not a brick oven one. Now of course this is my experience that I had and fell that princess can do much better going forward.

Great tour! I had to stop it midway though because of the repetitive music. May not bother others but it was intense for my ears to endure. But well filmed thank you. A friend will be embarking soon and I wanted to see the ship. In my humble opinion cut the music out. It cheapens the presentation. I offer that with grace. Good video!

I ended up purchasing an end of the year 23 in December that they had in inventory with pretty good discount. Unfortunately, no hitch although I will probably have one installed and should still end up a little ahead. Never thought about the software. Thank you for the update.
