Morning! We follow several big name RV channels but we like yours the best and here is why. You are showing what every newbie RVer has gone through making mistakes and learning from them. Every video you do you are getting better and better. Never be ashamed or embarrassed about making mistakes because that is how we learn and get better. You would think we are RVers but we are not. After watching a ton of KZbin videos we decided that it was not for us but still love to watch all the adventures, good and bad. Hang in there and keep pumping content out!!

Good Morning Rebel Adventures! Every comment our family receives makes all of us smile and we are very thankful. Every now and then we get a comment like yours that makes our whole day brighter. Thank you for the wonderful message! We don't try to be the best and we don't try to tell others how to do it. Most of the time we can't find our own water hoses or leveling blocks. We like to show everyone that it's ok NOT to have the answers and more important to relax and work together. Welcome to RVing. :) The traveling and adventurous spirit connects us all! Can't wait to see more of the Rebel Adventures. Maximus (F-350) needs a bunch of upgrades but he's hanging in there. LOL. All the best from all of us here. Travel safe out there!

Any time you want to use your truck slid in hitch block for your bike rack you go to the bike rack manufacturer to get the right pin locking system so that when you slide the male end of your bike hitch, into the female recover of your truck hitch block it will lock in. You slide it in, line up the holes, one side have a screw thread, you tighten down with a socket wrench, and use the key like provided! You will need a locking system to prevent anyone from taking the bikes off the racks.

Thanks for sharing your awesome videos & life on the road! Bravo Zulu for your Amazing Wife becoming a U.S. Citizen!!! I live watching y’all videos! Learning so much! To save money so you have the money you save to put into fuel, food, and happy time, and especially up keep, limit your purchases at camping world! They are twice the amount of what you can get stuff for else where! How do you find your current dually when driving the jacked up roads of America? What would you change if you could?
@discoveryboundrv Жыл бұрын
Hi Peter! Thank you so much! Whether you have plenty of money or not, keeping a budget is key to full time RVing. It’s so easy to spend excessively when you first start. We call it the “Treat Yourself” phase. Campfires and Brunches. LOL. Maximus is a road master! Rough roads aren’t that big of a deal, but driving over 70-75 mph without a load will start to shake progressively. The dually is torque heavy and really smooths out when towing. Actually, the rough roads take their toll on the RV. We have plenty of damage due to things falling out, including the fridge, once we arrive and open up the slides. If we had to change anything, it would be changing to an F-450 for better turning radius. In the 350, it is very difficult to make sharp turns with the truck being so big. We only tow the RV every now and then, but we explore the local areas all the time. The other thing we would change is starting sooner. We love the RV Community and traveling America. Hope this helps. Best, Pam & Lee

@discoveryboundrv2 жыл бұрын
Hi Darryl! We have been to a LOT of RV parks in our travels and the digital leveling systems can help 100% of the time. It's so funny that the Rig has to be level before you level it. We are still trying to figure out how far away from level we can be before we get an "Excessive Slope" error. We are definitely going to look into the Rhino Storm. We were looking at the Level Mate Pro as well. Thanks for the feedback. Very well received and appreciated!

@@discoveryboundrv I have the 6 point auto leveling on my 5th wheel but I like to get the side to side level with blocks if I am staying more then one or two days because I don't like the tires off the ground so I have both Level Mate Pro and plugged into USB and I have the levelerpro I know over kill . and for front to back I carry 6"x6" wood blocks and two Anderson cone blocks so the front jack don't get over extended to give you the error

Hi Darryl. We do the same thing. We don’t like to over-extend the stabilizers and we use wood to keep the weight of the rig on the tires. We Definitely need to bump up the LevelMate Pro on our priority list. 😀👍

Story, once a long time ago wife and i was in orlando camping world just as computers were being hook up at cash regesters. We were in line did not have a 5th wheel. Was buying some things the cleark was reading off what we were buying. Now we had a 42 gal blue boy. And some other stuff. We lived on the road. She got the tank and said 5th wheel lobe plate. I said no that a waste tank much more money the lube plate was about 4.95 then, she said very posatively totad its a 5th wheel lube plate thats what the computer says it is, never argue with the computer its always right. So we paid for our lube plate and left now everyone in the lines heard what was said and was laughing.

Well, I guess no one told you about Harbor Freight. I get almost all my pins, locks, lube, and gloves from HF. I even joined the discount card. I also get the freebee magnetic flashlights and accessories marked down. I loved the dino's!

LOVE Harbor Freight!!! We aren't card carrying members, but we do love the discounted products. You are 100% right. Fun story, we used to walk around shopping malls and every time we got near a SEARS department store Pam would get a headache. I didn't catch on to this trick for many years. Apparently, I would spend WAY too much time in the tools section. :) LOL. Since then, my Harbor Freight shopping isn't as frequent as I would love it to be. Also, we have been traveling throughout the West so much lately that we are never in an area that has a HF nearby. It's like trying to find an IKEA or Costco when there isn't even a gas station in the area. :) Thanks again for your support and we wish you all of the best. Warm regards, best wishes, and big hugs to you and your family in your speedy recovery.

Hi Darryl, smart move! Having more is always better. When they get used, they just fall off. Nothing like experience to teach you a lesson. Agree with the dealership as well.👍
@trustme77312 жыл бұрын
I can pretty much assure you that there is NO voltage on that fence. It would be a monsterous liability. Besides, all anyone would have to do to disable it is throw a chain over it.........and duck. Makes me wonder why they do this. Is crime so rampant there? That style of hitch lock is generally no good. A pipe is put over the locking end. Pull sideways on it and it snaps right off. I think 2.5 seconds is the record time. Search hitch locks here and see for yourself. Listen to your wife, call first !
@discoveryboundrv2 жыл бұрын
On my Top 10 list of things to check....That 7k Volt fence isn't one of them! LOL. I would have to agree that something doesn't fit right in that equation. However, I lost it when you said throw a chain over the fence and duck. I'm still laughing on that one. You single handedly nulled out the entire effort of putting electricity on that fence. :) Agree with the hitch locks. They keep the honest out and only slow down the pros. I was using it to lock my hitch adapters (sleeves) on the dually. Then I just threw all of it under the back seat. The cheap version of bike rack that I have uses a threaded bolt, so the smaller lock doesn't even go through. We didn't know that at the time. However, the locks do fit and that is a great combo back to fit the RV and Truck for those who want it. Thanks for the feedback! Great info as always.

We actually stayed in a private RV Park because the one on base was full. Mountain Home is experiencing a lot of local housing issues and actually made the news recently.
