Ok, I'm just blown away by the incredible talent here. From the singing with the accent, rolling the R's and nailing the semitones in the 4 note trills in the vocals, this is just a prime of example of how to perfectly nail a musical genre. (which I now see Ylvis has done all in each vid) But to actually nail the vibe and feel of turkish groove was totally badass. And even down to a smooth jazz midi guitar solo! damn! I'm a fan of Punjabi music so this was just a pleasure to hear! (and I'm a midi specialist, seriously he could have just used general midi #105, on a Sitar patch!) Please tell me exactly how that oud was recorded, it's awesome!

Think of it this way: You are vegetarian and have a restaurant that cooks well for you. I,ve seen this twice and I now can't get this catchy tune out of my mind. I really liked this video. Vegard is rustic handsome here. I really like how Vegard is narrating a story in this song. Some folks are thinking that it is Bard doing the Mr. Toot character in this video. What do you think?

This might have already been commented, but I just had a thought; do you suppose this is in reference to the fact that they didn't "pull a mr. Toot" and get greedy with their fame after "The fox"? I don't know, it just kind of makes sense to me somehow and I mean it's actually a really true thing to go back to talkshowing after something like that, all cred, love them!

Underrated is Balkan Beat Box, who actually created the music and everybody credits this guys. Yeah yeah funny lyrics and stuff. But not big deal here. They just put the lyrics in a 2005 song. For sure, not a big deal. Balkan Beat Box - Adir Adirim is the big deal.
