I know it has been two years ago, ... but I got tears in my eyes watching other grown men cry because they almost lost a friend in a sport they are all so passionate about! Sports are great, .... but losing a friend while doing it is not. I lost my friend while playing soccer. He had a bad heart and died at the pitch! It's been 20 years ago. But still that wound will never heal fully!

Boy I would love to meet Big Chief. That's my dawg. I got a passion for street racing. Im 55 now and I still want to do some Street drag racing. I wish I still had my 80 Monte Carlo with the t-tops black with the with the floor shifter the whole car was black that was one bad mother with that 350 four-barrel carburetor made by Holly. But my 75 Monte Carlo was the show stopper. First car I owned when I graduated high school in 86. Back when I was young barely 20 my 80 Mc was a force to rekon with. I got family in Tallahassee got old cars just laying out in the field rotting. So any of the street outlaws looking for a old school car holla at me. They got some damn cars out there in that field. I believe they got a Dodge demon out there rotten in the field so damn sad I could talk about cars forever. May not know much about the internal workings of an engine well. but I know I can do some basic stuff as working on them. I got a general knowledge of mechanic work. But ain't nothing like some speed. That would be nice if you gentlemen could build a 75 or 80 Monte Carlo with a 6-speed in it with the Corvette engine as the driving force. 9:41 I would like to see that. Tear somebody a new butthole.

I felt so bad for Jeff cause he seems like a genuine person and I would love to find him a decent 57 Chevy that runs and drives cause I would just give it to him cause he brought the car along way during his racing career with the car..I use to know where a roller was and a driver for decent prices but that was either 2019 or 2020 when the guy wanted 4500 for both cars..The guy use to have at least 10 or 12 cars that he had to sell because he sold the land and a month later he died. He had a 64 442 Oldsmobile Cutlass and 3 G Body Cutlasses that I think 1 of em was a Hurst clone but badass. 3, 57 Chevy's, a 56 Nomad and a 4door 55 Chevy drag car from the 70s and a 49 Plymouth or Chrysler that was a moonshine car as in 2door Sedan or coupe with an old school hemi and an SS g body Monte Carlo that ran good as well. The rest of em were body's with no engine or trans in em and he also had a GTO Judge the same year as chief's car but it was green on green with the 455 4speed and 3.55 gears. I need to go see if the car's are still there kinda soon cause the longer they set the worse shape they become

I'm glad this is old and I know the outcome. Lutz is killing it with his GTO, fuck them getting teared up made me want to. It's hard for men to show that shit especially on camera, most of us who are 38 and older it was beat into us to never show emotion except anger. And the Marine Corp drilled that into me along with my drill instructor Marine Corp Vietnam combat veteran. I ran to Iraq and Afghanistan 2002-2012, rant over 😅

Why no crash barriers on either side, would have at least contained the vehicle, Instead of running off into a ditch in digging into the the ground like that, clearly road not setup for racing these machines. Nearly cost this guys life.

Because this is a public road that they shut down one night a week to race on. They don’t have the time, nor do they have the authority to put in concrete or tire barriers.
