Thank you! I only ever got 2 silicone dolls budget silicones that were not painted by me because I couldn't afford the high end. I have a reborn account, but I'm too nervous about making friends in the community because of the bullying. I have 1 replica of the doll you have in the video. But I learned how to paint and root real reborns. So I could have these dolls, but not everyone can do that. For me I would never be able to afford to go to a doll show. Great video.

I have in my collection a silicone doll and with a hand on my heart did not know she may have been a replica, people can choose the doll they fall in love with but they can also not knowingly purchase a replica, I’ve seen it many times. I'm an old white woman who owns 80+ dolls, including a few Aliexpress replicas. The people who were excluded should sue the excluding organizations for all kinds of discrimination. I am so sick and tired of all the elitist people in this world who can't imagine living someone else's life but sure think they should be able to tell me how to live mine. Only one person ever had the right to do that and He now sits on His Father's right until He decides to come down and finally set us all straight. Gee, I wonder if I post this if anybody will ever sell me a doll again. No matter - there's always Aliexpress.

I personally think people should just bring on their dolls and share them stop saying where they got them from. Unless they plan on selling them then absolutely they need to share in private where they got them from and let the buyer decide whether they want to purchase the doll or not. And I completely agree with you some people are on fixed incomes and can't afford the higher and dolls. But vinyl is vinyl regardless whether you pay $100 or $1,000.

I wouldn’t even go because I do not support discrimination. But I am far from popular in the doll world and they wouldn’t know me or my collection that well. I don’t even have a doll KZbin channel yet. But they would not even add me to the group. Being disabled I am so so against anyone who discriminates people for any reason. I 100% agree with everything you said. My collection is mostly authentic reborns but I am a doll collector not a reborn collector I love all dolls and I get a lot of hate for that so I recently left the reborn community and I’m now exclusively in the dolly community. Anyway I’m rambling sorry, but it breaks my heart that these very beautiful women of color are being treated this way and it does feel like it is very racially motivated. I had plans to go spent a lot of money at this show and now I will not be going or giving my money to these hateful people.

They better stop being nasty in the reborn doll hobby because just buy looking on line at some of these replicas I seen a Mandy replica toddler that looked like the real thing. I didn’t get her I was just looking online. But the point I’m trying to make this replica was waited 5pounds. I just seen it yesterday. In the description it was talking about the veining in everything. It was on temu since when did they start waiting replicas? That’s something to think about! But it looked like the real Mandy not the replica Mandy that same baby you have in your hand. It was big to. If this iPad I have wasn’t an apple giveing to me by someone else I would post the pictures just to make my point. And the price was affordable and all five stars ratings. I already know one person that I wouldn’t buy from because she was nasty to me so if other people feel the same way from a person that was nasty to them and they really like their baby they will just get a replica even if they can afford authentic. But as you say it’s not just about having replicas it’s the color of our skin. And if I was going out of respect I wouldn’t bring a replica I would have brought my authentic one but honestly their running me away. I’m going to start getting replicas and my silicones from baby clone because they not being nice and they hurting other people

Mandy, I have been listening to a lot of videos and atleast for now, I am staying pretty quiet. I love one of the gals banned….. honestly don’t know the list. This is all I will say………the sculptors created this mess by taking their business to China and not protect their sculpts legally. That’s it. If they had legally protected their sculpts and not gone to China, there would be no replicas. That’s all I’m saying. I only have authentic, by my choice. There are people out in the world that can’t afford custom made dolls and artist dolls cause they don’t have the money too and can’t afford one so they buy replica dolls I would love to have a custom made one or artist one but can’t I am disabled and on ssi and I have a budget and kids and etc I never been to a doll show and I would love too but can’t bring replicas dolls I own a lot of replicas and Lee Middleton and Ashton drake and etc and AliExpress and Temu and Walmart and eBay Amazon
