Blue marlin for NES. Quick little story for ya... My cousin really wanted this game as a kid. His mom, my aunt, asked one year what video game should he get my cousin for his birthday. I told her he really wants this blue marlin game. Fast forward a couple months after his birthday and I ask him how much he's enjoying said game, and he says I don't have that. I asked my aunt about it, and she simply forgot to gift him the game. She then found it so we could play it and man, was that exciting and fun. Just out of nowhere we can play this "new" video game. The game is really good even if you don't care about fishing games and just one of those I never really see get brought up.

Grabbed by the Ghoulies is one of my all time favorite games, and I'm a firm believer that if it came out on Gamecube instead of XBox it would have been given a much fairer chance.

Clive Barkers Jericho. It was actually a good game with a unique style of gameplay that nobody ever gave a chance.

I was actually looking to acquire the PC version of that game the other day, it was one of those games where I actually played and enjoyed the demo a couple times but never got around to playing it, even though I think I still have the steel book 360 version

Eternal Champions (for the Sega Genesis). I know it’s almost impossible vs the Computer, but I liked playing against friends when I was a kid and now, taking on my kids :)

sadly the spinoff game X-perts likely killed off the series because it bombed hard.I would have liked to see Eternal Champions continue. if you are able play the sega cd version,it is by far the definitive version of the game,more levels,more characters and more fatalities.plus A rocking soundtrack.

It's a shame. I always thought that was a very underrated game. And yes, it's hard. Probably the only fighting game I could never beat.

Thank goodness for my uncle that gave me his Sega Genesis and his small collection of games that included Rocket Knight Adventures when I was a kid. It's definitely in my top 5 games of all time. So much nostalgia. And I still go back and play it often even to this day

Croc will always have a place in my heart, from the PS1. Adored that game as a child, and it was apparently successful enough to warrant a sequel, which I also loved. Metacritic strongly disagrees with my love for it, but these two games are special to me :)

I also love Croc! I recently 100% the first game for the first time ever, it was a blast. I enjoy the music, especially in the first two worlds. Croc 2 huh, I know nothing about it and it looks to be entirely different. Is it really worth checking out? I never did look up a review for it.

@@MattAkiyama1 I would recommend you hunt down the sequel. It actually stands on its own apart from the original game and has some neat ideas. And the soundtrack is also as magical as the first. I think you would enjoy it :)

PS1 is probably the system with the most games very few people have opinions on. Big library, lots of not good to pretty bad games at the start of 3D era, wild west element with lots of attempts at new franchises, most people just haven't gone through the effort of exploring all those games to look for gems.

The best thing is knowing stuff about a game that normal people outside of the fandom wouldn't. It's like "What do you mean you don't know the name of the protagonist in Ever Oasis? It's Tethu! Remember? You get given a quest by Esna to start an oasis and stop the chaos from taking over the world."

I'd say the San Francisco Rush trilogy on N64. It's not as recognizable as the Cruisn' games but I don't see many people bringing those games up in their N64 favorites lists, and the games are a lot of fun.

San Francisco Rush > Cruisin' USA. I really don't think all that highly of the Crusin' USA port to the N64 and think it was only fun to play in the arcade.

Another one is Tenchu, that one is rarely brought up but it's astounding how good the first game was. I didn't like the sequel but the first had so much atmosphere.

i loved tenchu but its my flagship "didn't age well" game. it has almost all the early 3d games problems. the worst, in my opinion is the characters control like boats. god i loved that game. the sequel had the level editor. redeems it in my eyes.

Super black bass, and super bases loaded are some rough looking games but playing them as a child with my father in the early 90s makes me appreciate them much as the highly rated title games of the era. My daughter and I recently beat Joe & Mac saved all the babes from those pesky cavemen 💪

One of my personal favorites for SNES that never gets mentioned because it is a baseball game is Extra Innings. Absolutely fantastic game. I grew up playing baseball, I watch baseball, and this was my go to baseball game from everything in the 16 bit era. Tight controls, a great feeling for the timing of when to swing, run, steal, dive for the ball, etc. Sports games are massively overproduced with lots of mediocre efforts but Extra Innings is a winner.

Hellfire for Sega Genesis/Mega Drive! It’s the most intuitive shmup I’ve ever played. The game will require you to master the fundamentals of changing the direction of fire on a whim. The learning curve was pretty steep for me, but I found that it didn’t matter how many times I died. I kept wanting to come back to improve my skills regardless. I realize it has its fans in the shmup community, but I feel like it’s severely underrated amongst Sega Genesis fans. It’s a 10/10 for me, but a 7/10 from the internet game reviews I’ve seen.

General Chaos. I’ve been playing that game forever, and I’ll still throw it on often for a quick play-through. Excellent 2-player game as well. I’ve never once seen anyone mention it.

While I can think of lots of games not enough people care about, my mind always immediately thinks of Brave Fencer Musashi on the PS1. Zelda-esque gameplay, intriguing story and characters, fantastic voicework, incredible music... Came out about the same time as Ocarina of Time and has never received enough love.

Probably didnt help that it got an underwhelming PS2 sequel/remake that likely killed the series momentum dead. But yeah, the original definitely deserves more attention.

Sonic 3d blast on the genesis was always a favorite of mine but so many people have either never heard of it or said it was the end of good sonic games and i can say without a doubt that it is an amazing game. It is also personal to me as well, i got it for a birthday present back in 1996 from my great aunt and great uncle, rest their souls and i played it countless time without fail and it will always be something ill never forget and wish others could see what i see in its glory.

It got a bad wrap for what many considered pseudo-3D graphics which made it tricky to control. I thought this was actually unique and cool though. Very similar to Kirby's Dream Course for SNES, which is also one of my favorite games.

The Bonk and Goemon series are like that for me. Nobody seems to appreciate them as much as I do. Same with Toejam & Earl. And Wild Woody. Ok, maybe I was joking about Wild Woody. I've never actually played that one.

Thinking about it while watching, Fur Fighters on Dreamcast. I remember really enjoying this game when I was younger, and others didn't care for it. Also, Project S-11 on Game Boy Color, bought it one day wanting a space shooting game, and loved it. Don't know anyone other than me who liked it. I could also mention names of games I like, but others didn't, but I don't think that's what this video is talking about.

One game I don't think I've ever heard anyone ever mention, that was one of my favorite Sega Genesis games, is Haunting: Starring Polterguy. It's a neat premise and pretty fun gameplay. While it does get some mentioned sometimes, another game I really enjoyed that I feel like doesn't get nearly enough attention and love is Terranigma. Another I never thought I'd like, but I was hooked from start to finish was E.V.O.: Search For Eden. At first, it seemed kind of silly to me, but I stuck with it a little bit and, before I knew it, I had finished it.

Little Nemo: The Dream Master is my favorite NES game of all time. The series in general has been such a substantial part of my life since childhood that I proudly backed the Kickstarter for the new game. But it's rare for me to bring it up to anyone without them wondering what I'm even talking about. It's a shame because I consider it to be among the great Capcom games like DuckTales and Chip 'n Dale, if not better.

This gets my vote too. Probably overlooked by many because it's kind of cutesy and kiddish. But it's like an adventure game based in a dream world. It's cool using the abilities of many different animals. Pretty challenging game too. Don't think I ever beat it.

Your point about feeling like folks are encroaching on your special thing is very relatable for me. Not just with games, but with other stuff too. Like I got really into The Caretaker with his album "An Empty Bliss Beyond This World" back in like I think 2011. And it was mindblowing and extremely meaningful to me. I remember journalling about it after a hard breakup in 2016. And the fact that nobody else seemed to really "get it" somehow made it more meaningful to me. But then around 2019/2020 The Caretaker's newest project blew up on the Internet and suddenly he became a huge phenomenon that was getting memed about left and right. And that's cool and probably great for him. But it's frustratingly really messed with my ability to go and listen to that music again. It just feels "tarnished" and it feels silly because it's not actually changed in any way. It's entirely a "me" problem but I don't know how to stop feeling that way. Gah! But yeah good vid lol.

Shadowrun on Genesis gets so little love. It's a great game, and ahead of its time for what it does. Anytime 16-Bit Shadowrun gets brought up the discussion immediately goes to the SNES version, which is good, but less fun than the Genesis version.

Genesis Shadowrun was my jam! I think it's much more fun and plays a lot better than SNES Shadowrun. Better atmosphere too. When you start the game and only have chump change and trash equipment you really feel the grind of trash runs as you try to stock up on cash for the good stuff.

I played through "Shadowrun" on my Genesis a couple years back and I have mixed feelings about it. I did like the depth of the character customization, story and the matrix mini game but there were some parts of the game that annoyed the crap out of me. I really hated having to navigate through those caves and the hell hounds are way to freakin' hard when they first start showing up. There is also no point to do anything besides Matrix shawdowruns for money later in the game. You get the most money from them and they are far quicker & less risky to complete than the Acquisition and Extraction missions.

The "My Game" phenomenon, is a real thing. On the selfish end, I may want a game to feel very personal to me and I don't want someone else out there twisting my experience. On the selfless end, I want other people to have the same wonderful experience I had with "my game".

I grew up with DeCap Attack on genesis. It's got a lot of awesome qualities including graphics, gameplay, level design, bosses, powers and characters/world. I never hear anyone mention it, but it's definitely a quality game.

I really love PN03 for the Gamecube. It's a really fun, adrenaline-filled shooter I've completed countless times. Always saddens me to see it was kinda poorly receieved back then, and still doesn't get much love. :(

I like this game as well. My dad acted like a horn dog when you fired the girls gun since she sways her ass as you fire. At least that's how I remembered it. It's been years. I tried to beat that game but it got too hard for me to want to keep trying. I actually borrowed this from my friend so there's 3 people who like this game... me, you, and my friend.

I have a few... these are games I haven't heard anyone say "OMG That game SUUUUUCKS"... but games that people could go a whole year and never think or talk about. First one is SimCity. Not just any SimCity... the SNES SimCity. Most people would write this out as a very unsophisticated town building simulator... and yeah, it is. Thats what makes it so great. It's chill, it holds your hand through its complexities... then it just lets you loose on a very slow and relaxing pace in building your own Metropolis. I love the music and the chill vibe and I have so many fond memories playing this as a kid, and its one of the dozen or so games I find myself going back to on almost a yearly basis because it's always a good time. Second one is really two games. Bust a Move, and Bust a Move 2: Tengoku Mix for the Japanese PS1. A couple years after the PS1 was released, it was very common for people to do the "Swap trick" on Playstation games to be able to play imports or "burned" games. The comic book store was kind of a trading hub for "burned" games and after they closed on Saturdays, the guy who ran the store would bust out a few PS1's and let us play some imports he would be happy to sell you. One of these games I was exposed to was "Bust a Move"... and no, not the Puzzle Bobble game of the same name... but the dance and rhythm game. I really loved how this game played, I loved the characters, charm and music of the game... and I was so addicted to playing it with friends. When I was getting back into console gaming, one of the first things I did was bought a Japanese slim PS1 off Amazon for $40 and two legit copies of Bust a Move 1 & 2 for about $15 each. It was a lot of fun to re-play these on a console because due to the precise timing you need... playing these games on emulation is an AWFUL experience. Guerrilla War (NES) - I honestly never heard anyone talk about this, but my buddy Harry was REALLY into run-and-gun games like Commando, Ikari Warriors and Jackal. When he got Guerrilla War it was instantly our favorite. Much like Ikari Warriors, there were ways to just keep the game going just like playing an Arcade with an pocket of endless quarters. The top down perspective Run and Gun is really a genera that really satisfies that "Arcade" experience. I'm a big fan of Baldurs Gate: Dark Alliance, Gauntlet, Smash TV, Shock Troopers, Bloody Wolf and Time Soldiers. If it's a Twin Stick shooter... I'm in! I'm always up for playing any of these games.

I've never heard SimCity (SNES) being downplayed. It was better than the PC version (EGA graphics? LOL - that's unsophisticated) as it had bonus buildings that raised land value, a great soundtrack (it's playing in my head now, thanks for that) and every time I came home from school on a Friday, it was to BlockBuster ASAP (sometimes even on the way from school directly) before someone else snagged it. Half the time, it would be mine! And for about 6 months, NO ONE DELTED MY SAVE SLOT! Eventually my parents bought it for me and my dad even played it. My friends borrowed it off me from time to time - there's no one I know that didn't like it. Talking about it at school was in fact relegated to the nerds, but I KNOW there were secret admirers of the game among the cool kids too.

100% agree on Guerilla War! Nobody mentions that game, it's easily in my top 10 NES games. Fantastic run and gun, it blows Akari Warriors out of the water. I had it as a kid and my brother and I loved it. NEVER mentioned in hidden gem/top game videos by anyone.

@@the_kombinator I'm glad someone else appreciates this game as much as I do, and that is an awesome detail about your save game never being overwritten or deleted. I found the same thing with Secret of Mana (sometimes). Hey RetroBird, that might be a fun discussion... Renting video games with save games already on them... and the moral dilemma of deleting it or taking on the mission of picking up where the previous renter left off. LOL SimCity is a great game and nobody speaks ill of it, it just never gets talked about or "raved" about either. I never got into the SimCity 2000, 3000, 4000 or any of the other off shoot Sim games including... "Sims". Sims hit me the same way Grand Theft Auto does... not playing the game as you are supposed to play it was always more fun. In Grand Theft Auto, I'd get bored of the missions and try to get in as much trouble as I could and run from the cops for as long as I could. With the Sims, it was doing the money cheat code and finding lots of funny ways to get my Sim killed.

Three Dirty Dwarves, on the Sega Saturn for me. I only learned about it because when I my brother and I got our Saturn back in the mid 90s, we got a demo disc with it that included a demo for the game (we had pooled our allowances for it, so the guy at the electronics store got to count $70+ in $1 bills and a gift certificate we got. Good times). I think probably very few people who didn't have that demo disc even knew the game existed, but it's actually really fun and varied in the gameplay. It's also a pretty comical story.

Pulseman for the Sega Genesis is a great games. Fun gameplay, tight controls and crazy colorful seizure inducing graphics. Since it didn't get a physical released in our region, it didn't get and still doesn't get much attention.

Zelda II is definitely a game not liked by many, yet I always liked playing it from time to time. I enjoy the gameplay and the music. Feels oldschool and brings me back to classic tough games that I used to play on SNES growing up (yeah I didnt grow up with NES)

Raiden II is that game for me. It was originally an arcade space ship shoot em up. It’s simple enough to understand, but it’s very challenging. It often leans into the bullet hell genre a bit, especially as the game progresses. I think it’s not talked about much because it’s a bit niche. If you have a PS1 or PS2, I wholeheartedly recommend The Raiden Project (a compilation of Raiden 1&2). It’s really hard, but the music, graphics, and snappy controls make it super enjoyable. There are some newer games in the series, but nothing can beat the charm of the first two for me.

I've always loved Bart vs the Space Mutants for NES. It was the first game I ever owned for NES and I was such a Simpsons fan back then that I just kept playing and never gave up on it. One of my other friends had it so and he liked it too. We actually didn't really think it was a bad game, just hard. It wasn't til KZbin came alone that I realized so many people hated it. I got it for Christmas in 6th grade and it was about three years later that I was playing one day and finally got past the dinosaur in Level 4 and then the Nuclear Power Plant level was time consuming, but not as hard as the other levels. This game and the original Zelda are my two all time favorites for NES, and on tooootally different ends of the spectrum.

This is how i feel about the Sega Master System, mainly because so many of the voices you hear are from North America. One excellent game from that system that you barely hear people discuss is Wonderboy 3: The Dragons Trap. Seriously, if you haven't tried it you really should. It even got a remaster a few users back and is on most modern consoles and PC.

Rocket Knight Adventures is absolutely one of the best Genesis games. Everything from level design, to music, so graphics, to varied gameplay, etc.

I remember going into a microplay in '95 and being absolutely captivated by the box of Rocket Knight Adventures lol I tested it out on the TV at the store and it became one of my all time favorite games on the Genesis, truly an underrated gem that a lot of people missed out on! *Salute to the Possum*

Jaws being my favorite movie, the nes game has been almost a “guilty” pleasure since everyone seems to dislike it. I love the simplicity and as a gamer playing for over 30 years, it being the first game I’ve beaten still has a special place.

RC De GO! On PS1 is a certified hidden gem. I grabbed it at my local game store and discovered an amazing Taito arcade port that has you racing RC cars. The charm comes from the perspective that makes you feel like you are actually standing around a track and controlling an RC. It also features a parts shop that you can use to upgrade your car and that makes it fun to grind races until you get 1st place. I have never been able to complete the final course and experience the bonus tracks though.

The game I like but no one cares about is Action Fighter on the SMS. A motorbike, car, plane, boat racing shooter type thing, it’s an odd type of game but I played the heck out of it as a kid. Still have it and love it but it seems no one else talks about it.

My 'odd duck' game is King of the Monsters 2. There are a few ports of this game, but the best is obviously the original Neo Geo version. The game is a combination beat-em up / wrestling game with kaiju characters. As a quarter muncher the CPU is super cheap and there is a ton of button mashing going on but I enjoy the giant monster battles as well as the execution of special moves.

@@wantspizzadaily1316 Shinobi is also a very hard game to beat. For Kenseiden you can select levels if it's more than one. Be sure to remember the levels on the map. The training stage is hard you can retry those as many times as you want until you suceed.

I had a best friend, his name was Corey. We used to hang out every weekend and play Kabuki Quantum Fighter, Time Lord, and the greatest co-op of them all; Snake, Rattle, n Roll on his NES. We thought we were the only kids in the world who played those games. At the same time, I had copies of Journey to Silius and Solar Jetman at home, and I also thought nobody else played them. It’s wild to see how revered some of them are after all this time.

Rudra no Hihou is a brilliant super famicom rpg developed by Squaresoft but it never saw an official English release because by the time it would be ready for an English release, the PlayStation would already be out. Not only that, but the English fan translation for the game was released in 2003 with a sub-par script that was redone in 2006. This was significantly later than many other super famicom rpg fan translations meaning that it wasn’t able to ride off the super famicom translation craze as easily.

I like Jaws and Friday the 13th on NES, and most people do not. When i hear people talk about them, its never in a warm fuzzy sort of way. As an adult i can understand why, but as a kid i played these games a lot and always had a good time.

They are both solid, I think they suffer from the movie license curse. The LJN rainbow doesn't help things either. Most people hate Friday the 13th because they don't understand the map works more like a clock. It's a shame, that is a solid game that they hate for a silly reason.

One game that was special to me as a child was Toki: Going Ape Spit on the Genesis. Yes, the title is dumb, but it was a game that introduced me to the 16-bit era and I really enjoyed playing it as a kid. It isn't the best game, but I found it to be a simple and fun platformer. However, I never hear anyone ever talk about it. It kind of got lost in the shuffle of bigger Genesis titles.

The Toki arcade was at my local theater as a kid, right next to Golden Axe. I played each of them every time before I saw a movie. It is a beloved, but hard game that is always among my favorite arcade games.

One of my favorites that I almost never see mentioned is The Immortal on the Sega Genesis Being a huge horror movie fan in those days and seeing some of the digital gore in this game was a ton of fun Awesome soundtrack too, built a great atmosphere to the game I still go back to it every now and then Love the channel!

Ogre Battle 64 Person of Lordly Caliber for (obviously) N64. It's a great game where you get to build an army and you actually care about each person in that army, you go on an epic fantasy adventure and nobody ever talks about it beyond saying "it's good, probably". I discovered it late, but I think it easily fits into the N64's top 5 best.

There's a lot of games I like that are niche & most people don't care about. Hard to pick one so I'll just name a few. Gauntlet: Dark Legacy, Sonic Riders, Sonic Riders Zero Gravity, Zombies, Metal Arms GitS, Baiten Kaitos, Skies of Arcadia, Jet Force Gemini & Fenyx Rising. I told my buddy last week I got Fenyx Rising on sale & he's all, "The hell is that?" Seems like not many people even know Ubisoft released it last year.

One game that comes to mind is Socket, on Sega Genesis. Sure, it's kind of a Sonic clone where you play as a duck running fast instead of a hedgehog, but the music is fantastic! And the gameplay isn't bad either, if you enjoy the classic Sonic games. Another couple of games that I remember renting a lot on the original PlayStation are Soul Of The Samurai (came out in 1999, so definitely a late release for PS1), and Nightmare Creatures. Both good games with a lot of atmosphere, in my opinion.

Bases Loaded 3, 4 (NES) and Super Bases Loaded (SNES). People consider the original Bases Loaded (and sometimes Bases Loaded II) the best of the bunch mainly because from 3 they went to a behind the pitcher view. It takes time to master but once you do I think it's really well done and fun, other games tried this perspective and failed (i.e. Roger Clemens Baseball). I used to have some real battles with friends in these games and we had a blast.

One series that I love but doesn’t get enough love is the PAC-MAN World Series. I grew up playing Pac-Man world and Pac-Man world 2 on PlayStation, and I’ve been addicted to them ever since. I don’t play them too often but when I do it’s always a good time!

I love Bill Laimbeer's Combat Basketball for the SNES and have beat it multiple times, it's a bad game with clunky controls, but if you can get the controls and nuances down, it becomes a really easy game of keep away saving up coins for a complete team of Bill Laimbeers

It’s not fantastic but it’s a really unique platformer that you can tell the developers were getting creative with. The Legend of the Mystical Ninja on the SNES. Since you like stories I'll name a game with the best story although it's popular. I had two brothers growing up. We each could play a game for one hour. Our eldest brother always played single players, typically RPGs like FF6. So my little brother and I would always play two player fighter games or co-op games. Our favorite was Mortal Kombat 2 on the SNES or one of the earlier Sonic titles on Sega. A lesser known game would include for the SNES Clay Fighters, Primal Rage, Secret of Mana was somehow two players,, or on the N64 Killer Instinct. TLDR: our eldest brother got to play 1 hour for every 4 we got to play in a 3 hour span of time. Phrased differently for every 3 hour span of time we each got to play 2 hours for his every one. It pays to share. That could make for an interesting video: How was video game time split up among kids when you grew up and how might you do it today knowing what you now know.

There's one game in particular that everyone seemingly despises, but I absolutely ADORE, and that is Bubsy 3D for the PS1 (the fact that you put it on the thumbnail made me smile a little). It is a weird game (keyword: *weird, not bad*), but it's also one hell of a good time. Sure the controls are a little strange in the way that Bubsy moves and stuff, but it's only a matter of getting used to it, and once you do it's a total blast, and definitely more unique than the 3D platformers that succeded it, which were all just leeching off Mario 64's formula's success.

Raze’s Hell on the OG Xbox comes to mind. Literally nobody ever talks about this game, sure it came out pretty late in the console’s lifespan but I also think folks didn’t quite knew what to make of it from the pics and trailers & passed it off as a kid’s game (which it is absolutely not 🤣). At fists sight its all pink & sugar coated Teletubbie stuff, but underneath lies a brutal game full of carnage, to the point where you have to devour the corpses of your enemies to replenish your own health and it will totally destroy anyone who goes in unpreparde with its learning curve…it is such a hidden gem imho

My favorite Metroid game is the original, but every time I hear someone talk about it, it's always negative. The main complaint I hear is that it doesn't have a map, but the layout is super simple and it is the perfect length for pick up and play- around 30 minutes, no glitches required. If anyone is interested, the whole map centers around the two central mineshafts, blue and yellow, which are connected to each other at the middle like a capital H. Top of blue? Mother Brain, the last boss. Bottom of blue? Kraid. Top of yellow? Varia Suit. Bottom of yellow? Ridley.

First Metroid was really good but the map and the grinding you have to do every time you die really holds it back IMO. The biggest strike against it was how good Super Metroid was. If I play a Metroid game these days, it is either Super Metroid or one of the GBA games.

Rodland for the Amiga. Absolutely classic one screen game a bit similar to Bubble Bobble where you smack the heck out of walking radishes, giant bees and walking sharks. Honestly one of my favorite games of all time but I've NEVER heard it mentioned by anyone who isn't an amiga fanatic. The game doesn't have any of the problems commonly associated with the amiga either. Great graphics, great controls(although some slowdown on a couple of bosses), just a great experience.

Night Trap (for either the Sega CD or 3DO), was and is a special game to me and still is today. The idea of seeing action on 8 different cameras, and being able to be a fly on the wall, of a families activities was enticing and amazing. I believe the game has always received the short end of the stick, and never was fully played or enjoyed. In the game, not only are there girls that most guys would care about, but the main enemies are vampire like creatures. So you have a new spin on vampires evolving, and a family who controls these creatures as well, sort of like a Dr. Dracula. I find the whole story line to be very cool, and capturing tons of these creatures, even cooler. No one points to Shadowgate and says.. "You know, that game SUCKS because it is a point and click adventure", but somehow, a game with full motion video action, that happens in real time, with needed choices from the player, and one of the coolest story lines, is somehow... BAD? Another game I have always enjoyed is Karate Kid, and even Jaws.

I’m a big fan of the two resident evil on rails shooters for the Wii. Umbrella chronicles and dark side chronicles. They’re a ton of fun and visit locations and set pieces from the old RE games, but you’re seeing them from a new perspective. But even big RE fans never really talk about them 🤷🏻‍♂️

@@RetroBirdGaming if you’re a fan of the genre and of resident evil you should really check them out. The only real downfall is that umbrella chronicles is loaded with quick time events and they’re handled kind of poorly, but with enough practice you’ll get the hang of it
