Disembarking my Plane at Miami Airport and getting my luggage

I wanted to try to make this a full video of the airport, but it was a hassle to carry two bags along with luggage while holding my camera at the same time. At least you get to see my experience with the airport and retrieving my luggage from the baggage claim.

Miami Airport has one huge terminal in a horseshoe shape divided into 3 different sections including the North Terminal, Central Terminal and the South Terminal. Miami is a huge hub for American Airlines. Miami Airport needs to eventually connect all concourses post-security and build down escalators just before the security exit area so people don’t need to go through the check in area to reach the baggage claim.

I'm about to go from dominican republic to Miami then california.once I get baggage in baggage claims how far is it to the American airlines desk to check in bags for California?

Bro, if you have connecting flights (which is flights that were booked together), then you won’t have to get your checked-in bags because it will automatically transported to the next airline, unless you are flying with a different airline company. You can also contact American Airlines customer service by phone and they woo explain it better to you.

For instance, this Friday 09/16 I’m flying with American Airlines from here in Saint Louis, Missouri, then arriving in Miami to wait for 1 hour to depart to Dominican Republic. my checked bags will automatically be transported from the Miami Flight to the Dominican Flight by there the employees after I land into Miami Airport. So you won’t have to go to the baggage claim to pickup your luggage.
