I'd say you are absolutely correct. I am like many others... I just flat-out stopped doing Cocial Media - with You Yooob being the only exception. I interact a little bit on the Toob. But I have quit everything else out there. It's nothing but negativity and BS.

I always believed that "online social media" was doomed as an actually "social" platform from a point where revenue determined its survival. It's all just info gathering, some insightful or entertaining, but mostly trivial. Starting in the late 1940's, technology predicted & sold the notion that energy would free for everyone to access. The promise of flying cars & robots, jetpacks for everyone, homes in the sky, that kind of stuff. They were all wrong, or we were just duped. It turned out to be our choice of information

Mmmm, I think its as active as ever if not more, but a lot of peeps are just passive watchers with no comments no interaction just watching and cherry picking information for there own use/benefit, an unfortunate by product of social media and the internet it allows you to be faceless yet be a font of all knowledge!
