I have a feeling that all of these epilogues between the characters happen instead of it just being one of them because Valvatorez seems to be taking on board all of the different characters ambitions goals and Artina helping him the only difference is which order the main characters talk to Valvatorez if you see all of them you can gradually piece them together to make a coherent story of the complete epilogue.

Uh.. Are you implying that you think that Disgaea takes place in OUR universe? We have no idea how the battle goes, only the next Disgaea will tell if they come out victorious or not. And since Val made a promise to Fenrich to become the conqueror of the universe, I have no doubt that he'll be able to succeed.

@IwubMaiColettie lol I'm a christian, and I love the Disgaea series, and I love this forth installment. I respect god and everything, but I'm not to the point of religion where I would hate this game. Its just a game and it doesnt really bash christians or anything, its just Disgaea being Disgaea. A story about angels,demons, and humans going on different journeys. But its kinda funny seeing how people are reacting to this but in the first game, we went to Celestia and fought a bunch of angels.

........Wow he's still planning to face God......well good luck with that. Facing God isn't the hard part its actually finding him....but whatever this is Disgaea. I wonder if God will ever play another role in another Disgaea....probably a final boss or villain role...though it might be extreme it seems likely for Disgaea's case.....or Desco can become the Final Boss for the next Disgaea installment?

Soooo Valvatorez and Desco are going to battle against God.? And suddenly things are starting to look a bit like the True Demon/Canon ending of Shin Megame Tensei 3: Nocturne. Which is funny when you consider the pic I have next to my username. However now that I've seen this eplogue, I have this one burning question. Is it just me or does Desco and Nanako from Persona 4 have the same VA?.

@PinoyKun32 As a Christian I have to say that I don't really agree with the direction the game went with and it will most definitely anger the Bible thumpers out there, but it's nothing more than a video game, plus the god in the Disgaea universe could very well be a completely different character. As AuskaNeumaki said, it's possible that it may be Ophelia or completely new character. This is Disgaea we're talking about, so anything is possible. They break the 4th wall all the time LOL

ahhhh... but, you do realize it's Atlus that makes SMT, not SMT making SMT :P and either way.... many games go up against some God/equally powerful deity in the end or as optional bosses. anyways, im just saying that it bugs me when somebody says a game's title is gonna sue somebody and not the maker of said game. regardless of wether or not it's completely accurate, which in this case, im pertty sure it is considering i play a lot of SMT titled games as well as disgaea games lol.
