Great video! I'm using 4 angels for the angel song evility, one Professor buffing the Sage, Pleinair for her unique evility and the maid for a second attack, usually takes me 2 turns :)

Another thing that makes Softening Aura useful is the fact that it negates the Deathblow Geo Effect so that you can't accidentally kill your allies with it equipped.

I hadn't thought of that, but it does indeed prevent that. Probably because most deathblows (except things that deathblow objects such as Geo Symbols and treasure chests) require that you deal more than 0 damage to begin with.

@@blueeyesmew Why not have other strong support units to get rid of annoying Geo Effects like Invincible, Reverse Damage, and HP/SP Switch? Those, or just another Sage with Geo Change/Blast?

@@SpeedBump Having a spare Sage for Geo Change/Blast is certainly an option for any of the floor-clearing setups. One of the problems with using Land Decimator is that anyone sent out before the main Sage needs Softening Aura, so you'd need to specifically prepare units for dealing with unwanted Geo Symbols. If you have other strong units then you might as well use the Comet Disaster setup (one of the few advantages to Land Decimator is only requiring 1 attacker with high stats, though this mostly applies to the Supreme Curry into Murmur of Rage setup too).

I was wondering if anyone can tell me what evilities are the best for item world farming Sage. Also what evilities to equip when reincarnate 10 times?

Best evilities for an Item World farming Sage? That's part of what this vid is about (also listed in the description). I'd actually suggest using the Usalia or Comet Disaster setups instead though (which the item leveling overview vid links to). You don't need any specific evilities while repeatedly reincarnating. You also only need to reincarnate 5 times for the +25% aptitudes (as long as it's into the same class each time), unless you have other reasons to reincarnate more (e.g. reaching 1500 base HP or farming 900k stored levels on Zetta). When you're done with reincarnation and are ready to re-level for the final time you don't need any specific evilities as long as you have the DLC generic subclasses (Kunoichi, Celestial Hostess, and Sorcerer) maxed too. If you don't have these then you need to equip either a Raised Flag or the 10% stat growth evilities. Either way you need to max the Elite Four Squad and put the unit you're re-leveling in there. You can equip a load of HP growth evilities if you like though, since HP won't cap from leveling up.

how kill bonus(KB) calculate example i finish my run and it said 150 KB...so in my next run..do i still need 400 KB or..just get 250 KB to make it 400 KB? cuz i cannot do it in one run..it will make me feel burnout....

The kill bonus shown when you leave is the total, and it doesn't reset. You need 250 more (it'll eventually say 400 upon leaving).

Can I still benefit from KB if I am already at lv 500? I have a few items that reaches lv 500 but stat is way lower than 2m and KB is like 200 or so.

Yeah, you can still get kill bonus and training bonus at level 500.

Hello Blue! Having watched a few of these guid videos, I notice many veterans keep their items at level 500. Why is this? I've got some items to over 1000 and noticed the stats don't pileup as much, is that related? Many thanks dood!

The bill to increase the item level cap is expensive and to hard-cap an item you have to pass it multiple times. The extra levels alone don't do much and the increased kill bonus cap is painfully hard to reach. An item somewhere between the hard and soft caps is technically still better than an item at the soft cap, but leaving the item at the soft cap looks nicer than having a visibly unfinished item. Also the bill requires killing Carnage Dark and some people work on items before killing him.

If you had a fully maxed out sage (4 hard capped items and max eclipse power) so you wouldn't need any stat increasing evilites, would it be possible to use the sage only with Christo similar to the asagi method?

I don't suggest using LD for IW-clearing, this vid just exists because people are bound to ask about it. If you've got fully maxed out units just use a Comet Disaster rotation instead (I have another vid on this channel about using Comet Disaster). LD vs Asagis doesn't work very well anyway. Even a maxed out Sage struggles to match what she'd get using Capture Skill 3 on MT4 instead (let alone what Metallia and Pram can do against Asagis).

Just wondering if a fully maxed sage would be strong enough to not need all the buffing units to defeat high level enemies. To clarify, by asagi method I was referring to using comet disaster for IW clearing.

@@lakuar2 Oh sorry. I thought you meant the old LD + Megaphone vs Asagis shard farming method (which is kinda bad). Yeah a maxed out Sage should be able to kill stuff without all the buffs, though Multi-Attacker and Afternoon Tea would still help (the main way around the 50% accuracy cap of LD is just casting it as many times as possible).

Nope, 100% is possible if you can even get a mystery room at all (e.g. you can't get one directly following the floor you enter on).

i think i broke my game, my sage has almost 89m int , and 66m other stats, i barly got eclipse stats evility last night but havent used it , i can send screen shots kf my sage with a base no evility and one with what i used, idk but heck cant wait to use the eclipse stats evility when im off work,. also whats a good place to farm boss mobs . from what i understand eclipse stats only work on boss mob units and i could jump around the item world fighting bosses, would repeatedly fighting dark lazea ( darks sister ) would this stage yeald better results for eclipse stats farming ?

The only enemies outside of Item World that give Eclipse Power stats are Netherworld Research Overlords. Otherwise it's the same enemies you'd kill for training bonus.

Softening Aura (via Slumber Cat subclass) makes a unit take 0 damage from ally attacks. This evility is on the support units.

I'll also suggest you don't use this method of clearing IW floors. This video only exists because this is the method people have mostly heard of and so people are going to ask about it. @@Deano2019 Those class mastery methods also give quite a bit of exp so you'll likely have some level 9999 units by the time you're done. Those same methods can also be used to re-level after reincarnation. Alternatively you could use the hog exp bill or Magichange to have another unit get exp for the newly reincarnated units, bypassing the exp penalty of the E4 Squad in the process (which is briefly covered in the condensed Carnage IW vid). The level 9999 units you haven't reincarnated yet, or better yet some units that've already hit 10m stats, might be able to do Carnage MT4/5 (after those have been cleared once) to help re-level your other units. Bro why don't you just pass the bill Critical Situation prior to going on the map and have your Sage who'll be casting Land Decimator take a hit at the start so she goes into Revenge Mode and all her spells go into 1 SP cost instead if wasting an Evility slot for Relaxation?

That would mean using a Gency after every single floor to pass the bill again (which would also mean not getting any mystery rooms since those don't appear right after re-entering). That would also mean taking time to get hit (without also getting killed, which is a serious risk). The support units are just there for support - they don't need their slots for anything else. @@blueeyesmew Yeah, I saw the Comet Disaster vid you did and definitely seems a lot more straight-forward. I've seen all these guides for "game-breaking" Sage builds using Land Decimator, but it seems to require a huge amount of buffs and very specific Evility set-ups that I just don't see it tbh.

@@tryintech839 Clearing Carnage R40 Item World floors on 20* is always going to require reasonably good evilities. Evilities are a big deal. The downside to the Comet Disaster method is needing multiple strong units each with a Revenge Booster weapon. If you can do it though then it's potentially the fastest option once prepared. For something that just needs a single main attacker (with an optional secondary attacker) the Murmur of Rage method is still more reliable than Land Decimator. Land Decimator is honestly the most overrated thing in the game, which is why I hint that there are better options. It's just what people figured out how to make use of first, what made it into guides, and hence what is commonly suggested. Newer advice doesn't spread so easily when old advice is already ingrained. Honestly this vid only exists because this is the method everyone has heard of, so I still need to cover it in addition to covering the better options in their respective vids. The main thing Land Decimator isn't outclassed at is leveling very weak items without doing much preparation beforehand (you can skip a lot of preparation when the enemies all die easily and can't threaten you if they survive). This isn't something people will generally have much reason to do though (one of the times someone would do it is as part of an all trophies speedrun since the trophies for a 100 rarity item and level 500 item don't care how weak the item is, and nothing else in the speedrun requires strong items).

Sorry, I have a slight speech impediment. This was also one of my earlier videos where I used a microphone. I try to be very thorough in my explanations. I try to give my thought process and reasoning. I don't just want to explain HOW, but also explain WHY. I want the viewer to understand enough to be able to make substitutions, or to use those ideas in other methods. A common problem with Disgaea guides is that that the author often seems like they don't fully understand what they're teaching, so can't fully explain it. I someone simply wants a build with no explanation then it's listed in the description. This isn't even the best method. The other kill bonus farming videos on this channel show better methods. It would be better to follow the Murmur of Rage or Comet Disaster videos instead. This video only exists because someone was almost certainly going to ask about it if I didn't make a video about it.
