Onana was a mistake. As was Antony. Currently as was Malacia. Currently Mount was a mistake. Amrabat we can’t be sure on yet. His transfer choices are not the best. But he has no DoF. No capable ceo. No backing other than his own mind. His tactical input is solid and his detractors (from the playing staff) are over-ego’d failures who have shown their stripes under numerous other managers. Keep him and give him the opportunity to rebuild under a proper structure. Sack all the less interested/egomaniac players off and start with a group who he can trust and develop.

All you had to do was look at Inter's defensive record before and after Onana to see that their defensive success wasn't down to strictly him. He's been at the same level for about 3/4 seasons now, no massive growth and has a few howlers in him

Also think Ten Hag jumped the gun on getting a new keeper because nobody else was in for him his season. Should have spent it on another midfielder/defender than got a keeper this summer.

@@nexus4289 maybe Serie A is not as intense as the PL, however Onana mostly impressed in the CL last season. I don't think that the league comparison applies here. And I don't even think that the transfer was bad on paper. I guess Onana just failed to step up psychologically.

Mark is clearly confused. One moment he slags the team off, slags the transfer off, slags off everything which essentially proceeds from ETH incompetence and the next moment he says he is ETH in. He is forever contradicting himself. The interesting thing is that he finally owns up to his mistakes about Onana, Sancho and so on, yet fails to know ETH is the one who is the main problem.
