People need to understand the difference between International, Federal and State laws. Yes you can do things through loopholes but at the end of the day State/Local laws won't allow false/tampered documents. It comes down to a security thing as much as it can suck for some people.

I mean it not really tampering since Fl allows a passport as a primary doc. And the passport allows you to self identify legally.

If everything he did was legal, then on what basis could the government cancel his license? I'm not arguing that the guy isn't obnoxious, but we're supposed to be living in a country where the powers of the government are restrained by due process. In other words, you shouldn't be able to cancel somebody's driver's license just because you don't like their politics or ideology.

He still managed to falsify information to obtain a driver's license. He knows he isn't a female because he could 'self-identify' for his passport. He failed bigly.

You aren't allowed to knowingly falsify things like that on government forms, is what I am guessing.

They basically admitted to "losing" their license on purpose, which is misuse of a legal document, and the DMV has the authority to revoke it.

Driving is a privilege, not a right like with guns. Thats why you need strict background check with guns many are denied, but just anyone can get driver's license even as a convicted felon.
