​@@lauprayer3808to be fair, even toast didn't think he deserved this award this year or last year lol. He isn't really a strategy streamer anymore, he mainly plays variety games and valorant these days. He only played a month of TFT when he won last year and that was the only strategy game he played in 2023 really, so he was super confused as to why he won when someone like boxbox didnt. I appreciate them giving him his props as I like toast, but even he knows this particular award probably should've gone to someone else. That being said, I don't appreciate the dude up there who's being a hater for no reason either lol. They must not realize tft is indeed a strategy game, as was hearthstone (toasts main game way back when). He deserved this award back in those days, but these days an award for something like being an esports org owner or something would fit him a lot better than a strategy game streamer award lolol.

Even he was confused about why he won this award when he doesn't stream strategy games much at all anymore, lol. He thought someone like boxbox or the other contenders were much more deserving of it. That being said, TFT is definitely a strategy game, as was Hearthstone, and even Among us is considered to be in the social deduction/strategy genre. Idk what youre going on about with "TFT isn't a strategy game" LOL. Half the other contenders for this award were TFT streamers.

@@lauprayer3808 it's not random streamers, you would put quality streamers of each category and actually apply rules of the category. Having only tft streamers for the strategy is just insane. It's like they are living in a mental asylum. You would also not make it a popularity contest because popularity contest only solidify power and make it harder for smaller streamers to grow.
