That core sample was granite. Please don’t assume people are necessarily “hoarders” & use this term so loosely just because they have a vast accumulation of items in their home, it’s surprising what you can accumulate over the years if you live into old age. Don’t forget the place has been ransacked & everything thrown about out of the drawers & cupboards, I’m sure it looked vastly different in its day. The dead animal was a sheepskin & the machine was to remove the wool from the fleece.
@LostAdventuresExploring6 ай бұрын
hey Sally 💛hoarders is a loose term in urban exploring but il take on board what you've said the place has been ransacked your right and things thrown to the floor in most rooms, thank you for your comment 🤗
@heatherhannon38676 ай бұрын
That strange contraption that you said might have been for cleaning carpets is actually a drum carder which is used by people that spin animal fur into yarn for knitting. That could also be the reason for what you described as a dead dog. It could be animal fleece maybe be from a sheep that the lady would have been intending to use for spinning purposes. It has probably discoloured over the many years it has sat in a derelict property.

it's a fleece. from a sheep. the weird machine is a wool carder. She obviously did some wool felting work or spinning wool.

There's another great explore guys! Looks like all these peoples worldly goods, personal possessions, trinkets and everything that meant so much in this lifetime and took a lifetime to gather too means nothing to anyone now. That makes it kind of sad. Of course the fools come in and flip the entire house and no doubt stealing anything the can make a quick buck from. Very interesting place with a little peek into these folks lives. Do you think they were going to weave a dog hair sweater and wear their favorite pooch? Awesome job guys!

They are called magic lantern slides and are quite collectable/valuable. They were popular in the late nineteenth/early 20th centuries when village halls, churches etc would put on 'magic lantern slide displays' on subjects such as travel, art, etc usually accompanied by a lecture. Before the cinema was invented, it was quite a popular entertainment.

@@LostAdventuresExploring yes. Her bedroom was at top of two flights of stairs and a picture in hall got kicked down both flights of stairs at 2am and my sister also got strange scratches on her body also loads of weird things happened . Her boys teddy’s got thrown down the stairs and made the boys upset because they didn’t understand what was happening. When the estate agent advertised it to rent in one of the pictures on the stairs was a shadowy figure. Even the removal men saw things happen

As much as I love looking at your wife's legs both of you should be in full jeans, strong shirts and gloves with all you touch. Clothes you can throw away after such an adventure. I would add respirators or dust masks but then we could not hear you, but just off camera I would advise using. Great videos, I'm currently working through the videos of all the cool things you have found. Loving it.
