"Is it bad that Professor Dave or Dillahunty calls people idiots?" Well it isn't bad in theory; question is: how do they take it when the tables are turned? And the answer to that question is very eye opening. For example, when Dave went after Matt Walsh 2 years ago in regards to What is a Woman?, Dave's logic was so flawed, Matt made a response video where he easily refuted all of Dave's arguments. Then Dave followed up with an even dumber video in which he literally debunks himself halfway. And of course people in the comments called Dave out on this to which he called them all science deniers no matter how polite they were and no matter how well reasoned their criticism was. Dave eventually got so butthurt, he ended up closing the comment sections. Same stuff with Dillahunty. Always being the snarky pompous know-it-all who "DESTROYS" equally pompous Christians, then when a guy like Andrew Wilson comes along and goes on the offensive with the morality issue and using the same snarky tone as Matt, Matt runs away like a coward b**ch. Seems that lately, more and more of these atheist activists expose themselves as complete cowards and hypocrites the moment they get serious pushback. Also, Professor Dave isnt even a real professor, just a "science educator". The guy didn't even publish a single peer reviewed paper as far as I know, yet he has the gall to call others who actually do publish in STEM journals "science deniers". If most of science educators are like him, no wonder scientific discoveries get completely distorted and overblown in media.

I think trans people are human, I just disagree with their life choices and several detransitionars agree with me btw. Some are interviewed by Andrew Gold, a journalist who interviews people who escaped cults, including ex-JWs. Maybe you should listen to them, because while you can moralise about "dignity" all you want, there is no scientific metric for it (and as a result, everybody has different definitions for it). But since the "dignity" schtick seems to be used as a whip to judge others by (just like being "spiritually strong" is used by that other religion), it's no wonder detransitioners feel the whole trans movement is cultish in and of itself. Just admit you left the JW cult only to join the SJW cult instead. I really thought you were less dogmatic seeing we both have a JW background and are allergic to cultism, so this response is quite unfortunate.

The only time I heard that expression when I was in, was the people who came to speak to Job and made a mess of it. Saying all the wrong things to someone going through agony. But I always took that example as people who meant well but didn't know what they were talking about. Not a vindictive act. And not doing "Satan's will" on purpose. Though the scriptures that guy cited are all about false teachings... Not sure why they said that but whatever.

on the "broken English" : i guess a lot of the people actually speak Pidgin, a version of (other languages too but in this case) English that's common in Afrika or the west indies and is their lingua franca. it's more or less a version of English with reduced complexity, a relict of colonialism. think of it like people in the usa speak Spanish... very wrong and broken

I'm not a conspiracy theorist, I promise! But look at Operation Popeye and more recent developments of weather control. It's not necessarily that organisations/govts can actually create hurricanes, but they can at least theoretically create conditions that extend seasons. Like in Vietnam, the US govt extended the monsoon season to cause crop failure and more difficult conditions for North Vietnamese soldiers, etc. on the Ho Chi Minh Trail and throughout rural areas.
