Thousands of women daily are exploited and abused by 'men' (grown boys, not real men) - this probably happens to most women (casting couch) - 'if you want to feed your babies and have a roof over their heads'. All for three minutes... they ruin lives and kill us. The responding comment of the 'boy' saying this is BS is one of them... he's never been a woman or had to go through the hell we do - from birth. I was broken before the age of twelve by five old boys in my family - the remaining years to 68 was more of the same. Women are born victims of this male run society. My answer to his calling BS = Harvey Weinstein - including the gender pay gap. Most of them are arrogant and ignorant, just wanting their three minutes. Truth, all of it.

Not that he was the maven of entertainment accuracy. While Lanchestervwas not gay, she did have relationships with younger men, as did her hubby. To answer your question, people have to wait until someone dies sometimes, because otherwise they can go to jail for defaming someone, even when it is true. In the case of rape, people raped are embarassed and ashamed and they want to minimise the numbers of people who know, in case no one believes them and they lose their reputation as an honest person. A rape leaves little evidence other than the fact that it looks like someone had sex. Yet, all their life they feel like a prisoner in their own body, endlessly reliving what happened to them, not a day going by where they don't remember. It causes sleep disorders, intense nightmares, intimacy problems, digestive disorders, you name it, it causes a whole host of physical ailments related to the trauma that they experienced. If you saw the movie "Babylon" with Margot Robbie, you saw the kind of atmosphere that Hollywood always existed in. Anytime you have publishing, politics, and police all tied together by enormous amounts of money you get these nether regions where the rule of law only appears to exist but really doesn't. Kenneth Anger was this Luciferian film auteur who got very tired of the hypocrisy that came his way because of his beliefs and wrote the book "Hollywood Babylon." A lot of this underbelly was exposed in that book. One of these stories was the torture murder of Elizabeth Short, "the Blue Dialia" an aspiring actress turned prostitute. The autopsy of her body discovered that some of her feces was found in her stomach. So the scat thing with Laughton is more in the realm of possibility than not. One of the suspects in her murder was the head of the county's Social Hygiene Bureau, which mean that he was the one all the elites in Hollywood had to go to for treatment and reporting of sexually transmitted diseases. A job that gave him a massive blackmail vault all his own. Talk about leverage. If he did it, he got away with it.

The outright fascination over people of wealth and fame is absurd. I finally realized that people in movies and even television are shown on large screens, inherently making them 'larger than life' ... and perhaps that is where the fascination begins. These people are merely making movements they are told to make, and speaking words that others write ... pretending to be what they are not. That is why it amazes me that people listen to them regarding political choices. They may actually have opinions, but who can tell, what is an actual opinion, or what they have been programmed to say, written by their puppet masters. Like biden, they are merely puppets ... their strings are pulled, and their lips move, and someone else is directing them what to say.

I see the comments about why so many celebrate these actors etc. Just remember this is a way to turn the head from the mundane of every day. Give them bread, give them games and give them war.

Loretta Young starred in a short lived 1950s or early 1960s series where she played many character roles. I've seen promos for it when in syndication. Would be interesting to see the series if out of curiosity.
