This makes me feel physically ill. Let me begin by saying I am a female survivor of physical, sexual, and emotional abuse by my ex-husband. His own mother was willing to testify against him. My opinion is coming from that perspective. I have never been a Johnny Depp fan. I’ve never watched one movie he has been in. In fact when my teenaged son first told me what was happening I believed he probably did what she said. And then… I started tuning in and watching the live footage every day. When JD spoke it literally connected with the pain that I have felt. The very way he sat, lowered his voice on certain points, etc. Everything in me was screaming for someone to help him. When I watched Amber Heard I would literally tell my husband that I didn’t believe what she was saying. As an abused person I NEVER begged my husband to stay (when he was gone there was relief). As an abused person I NEVER taunted or provoked him, this would only lead to more abuse. In over 30 years my story has NEVER changed. Everything in me doesn’t believe her. I have cried and wept for JD. I have rejoiced at his win! I know my opinion doesn’t matter in the whole scheme of things, but I just needed to vent/get this off my chest. I just want to see justice for real victims everywhere, whether man or woman.

MY PROOF WAS WHEN THE POLICE ARRIVED AT MY HOUSE AND THEY SAW MY BEAT-UP BODY. The police didn't even call an ambulance to take me to the hospital, the police drove me there themselves because I was so severely hurt they didn't want to wait for an ambulance. I stood in court against my abuser and I won against him. If DV has been set back (according to Elaine) it's because of Amber's lying testimony in court. It's not because of the verdict.

What sticks in my mind the most is watching the interview with Rihanna when she undramatically (but powerfully) talks about her experience of abuse from her ex. She is NOT an actress and is 100% believable and had me reduced to tears watching her face and hearing her underplayed account of her REAL abuse. This is one of the clips that Heard is accused of miserably trying to copy. I also liked how body language experts like "The Behaviour Panel" explained exactly why we don't feel empathy for Heard. Reasons something like .. we have a natural, inbuilt body/face language instinct that unconsciously knows when someone is acting/putting on a 'sad face' just with their downturned mouth .. when the real emotion involves completely different facial muscles etc .. very interesting and informative. Also gave me even more respect for Rihanna, as in her police photos her face was horribly beat up, but she never went out of her way to put CB down or badmouth him .. just downplayed her own suffering, but undramatically spoke up genuinely, as her duty for other young girls that may be affected if she didn't.

Exactly. There's been so much focus on Amber being a liar, barely anyone is talking about her being an actual ABUSER. Where's the witch-hunt that we see for every man believed to be an abuser? Andy and gang. I have been on FB all day commenting on all these posts that are spinning the narrative about the case. I am fighting and as a abuse survivor myself I am f***ing pissed. Amber is a malignant narcissist. She's got gaslighting down to a fine art. She doesn't know how to NOT lie in order for her to be right and everyone else to be wrong. I'm one of those survivors of family V and SV. Women like Amber are a blight on our lives. I've also worked with survivors of both DV and SV. Women who experience ongoing DV DON'T taunt their aggressors unless they WANT to be ATTACKED. This can happen when the victim wants the cycle to end, ie just get the attack over with so it can be calm again. That didn't happen with Johnny, instead of attacking he REMOVED himself by going to another room. The other reason for taunting is to get the reaction they want because that's what many women have lived with all their lives and understand. That's what they're COMFORTABLE with. If Johnny was an aggressor he would not have removed himself from her taunting, hitting, yelling, and belittling behaviour, he would have attacked her right back. The fact that she recorded these episodes shows that she really believed in her narcissistic mind that she was right. Anyone in their right mind would realise those recordings were damning, to Amber, not Johnny. She admits to hitting him. Where in any of those tapes do you hear him physically attack her, or admit to physically attacking her. He didn't know she was recording. There was nothing to stop him from saying he'd hit her if she didn't stop taunting. But he didn't, because he'd rather remove himself, even though it angered her!! Im not saying he's an angel. Both have substance and alcohol issues. He wrote some awful stuff to his friends. I dare say she did too, but we can't know that as we didn't see HER text messages from HER phone, only from HIS in reply to him. That tells me she was careful and devious. Men can be victims of women. It's important that Johnny Depp brought this to light. Most men are too ashamed to admit it's happened to them. Pride would stop them from admitting they're victims of women. I've never been a JD fan, but I'm glad he brought this subject to light.

My honest thoughts are that I think THEY ARE SLEEPING TOGETHER-the lawyer and the client. I mean, if you truly believe the lies of a proven, well, liar (and proven in court nonetheless) and is basically campaigning “innocence” for this narcissistic liar, then you’re either wanting more than 15 mins of fame or sleeping with the client, or you’re nuts yourself, or all of the above. And isn’t the client known for getting into relationships just to use them and milk them for what they’ve got? Sorry, “allegedly” known. Either way, if they keep pushing this narrative and twisting facts, Johnny will be forced to take action, as what happened with the defamation case; the liar kept lying FOR YEARS and finally he stood up and fought back for himself, which inadvertently gave men, who were abused but were not believed, a voice, and an insight to what really goes on when dealing with emotionally and physically abusive women (and extremely manipulative!!!) So I say, keep pushing him then, force his hand to prove the actual abuse took place, force him to sue again, force all the evidence related to abuse on both sides to come to light and this will be an even bigger trial. This sorry excuse for a lawyer keeps telling everyone that evidence and previous court case was not allowed-it was not allowed because it wasn’t relevant to the defamation case (and due to bias), which means Johnny would have also had an actual mountain of evidence that was not submitted due to relevance to defamation. So, go on then, keep spinning lies, keep pushing your luck. The low level actress will not come back from this. People say she’s smart, intelligent, but she’s so stupid? I mean, Johnny for one has actual medical proof of injury-the abusive narcissists does not. So, bring it on?

Ever lawyer that looses wants to appeal, more money, and complain it wasn’t a good judgement. But the judge is not going to be pleased with the talk show circuit with Elaine, AH lawyer and trashing the process. The judge was incredible, fair, explained everything. The jury should also keep quiet it is the honourable thing to do. THE JUDGEMENT IS SELF EXPLANATORY.

Oh full respect for that judge, I did not feel she showed any unfairness or bias to either side, she treated both sides with the same respect and fairness, both sides got their objections in and she either sustained or rejected according to the law and relevance and both sides got firmly but respectfully reprimanded at times- like when both teams got reminded by the judge that its their job to keep track of any evidence that they present, and even when one side basically tried to say the judge was wrong in something- such as - wrong about the time they had left, she didn't get mad or have a go at them but very clearly and firmly showed- she was right and why she was right (she can add correctly and had all the information recorded down anyways), thought that was awesome, this lady was a true professional. I hope it never happens of course but if I were ever to end up in court, I would hope for someone with her professionalism and dignity and skill, presiding over everything.
