I played the prequel to FFVII on my PSP (Crisis Core) when I was younger, and that is my only personal experience of playing this story as I never had (have even to this day,) a home console. However, through my teenage hyperfixation on this story, I pretty much am familiar with the entire plot of this. I love this game’s characters, particularly Cloud, Sephiroth and Zack and I love this game’s story. I can even say that Crisis Core is the reason I play games like Genshin today, because I was looking for a similar experience. Seeing you play a story that I love so much, and seeing these two worlds of Genshin and FF collide in some way, is an experience that I never thought I would get to see. This makes me so happy, and I hope you enjoy this series as you play along too. 🥹

Aw, this is so sweet. I never played Final Fantasy myself either but I’ve watched full playthroughs of remake some years ago. Now I’m watching Miss Dish play it, hopefully to see rebirth too! And I also love how it kind of connects with Genshin

@@GabrielAlmeida-np3ur I think it’s totally worth it!! In 2021 I watched a no commentary from an amazing channel called sourcespy. Now I’m watching Ms Dish play it to fresh up my memory of the game so I can watch the no commentary version of rebirth afterwards :) it’s such a beautiful game and since I don’t have the opportunity to play it myself I just watch the play through. And again, sourcespy does really good no commentary’s, it’s like you’re playing the game yourself!!
