The NPC voice acting in Genshin has only gotten better and better from Alberich from the Caribert mission onwards. This guy was amazing!

I love how Morris panics so hard and so fast that he tries to open the door the wrong way. Seriously, it was not locked. He just needed to pull, not push.

That actually happened irl where the door was a pull door than a push door. People got trapped inside a theater and died 😢

@@Quinton_ovo_ happened in my country too, on a disco bar, that caught on fire. People panicked and the door had to be pulled inside to open. A lot of people died. It happened around the 1990's

I didn't have many thoughts on Chevreuse til this event. This cutscene really made me warm up to her plenty fast with how god damn menacing she was amidst the building tension.

@@tite93 That is very true! Though there are many instances where a character can click purely from visual or what info we learned during drip marketing.

The aftermath actually dimmed my excitement. The resoultion is just so unsatisfying. Especially cause Im sure the siblings will probably just kill Morris in prison.

The gun wasn’t a firework, it was the prop gun they had been using while filming. Veronique had explained earlier on, when Chevreuse was showing Ayaka how to hold it, that the guns would just flash when they were fired, mimicking a real gun. One of my FAVORITE cut scenes now ever. Made me love Chevreuse SO MUCH!

I LOVED this cutscene, I think hoyo is starting to delve more into lighting in their animations and it’s nice to see! I hope we get more cutscenes in the future that have a similar feeling to this scene.

Yea Genshin’s cutscenes have gotten better since HSR’s release, they’re probably taking tips from them in some way.

@@kyuzairen5383 Wait, why is HSR involved in this? Is there something about a cutscene where they show these amazing lighting and camera angles? Isn't Genshin Impact's cutscene already good as it is? Why compare the two, and why say that they are following HRS's steps? Is there something I'm missing?

I know the scene after lets Cheveruse discuss it more But as much as Morris deserves to die, Cheveruse made the right call not killing him since she does go into how that just feeds into the cycle of hatred and doesn’t actually solve anything other than quick relief. Because if we just kill who we deem as bad (even if they are truly scum) then that sets a precedent of “well this guy did something bad, therefore kill him” and then you end up with French Revolution Guillotine moment. It’s a tricky thing and I don’t like how some streamers called Cheveruse an idiot for not pulling the trigger, even though they went into lengthy detail how she hesitated and thought about doing that

This whole event reminded me of this one Fat Albert episode that basically had the same message on how revenge is just an endless cycle. I know that's possibly one of the wildest comparisons but that was the first thing that came into my mind

It's not hard to judge these kinds of things in fiction because we know it's not real and we can wish all kinds of harm on disgusting characters. IRL would be different though. I'd have definitely done what Chevreuse did. Made the choices she made.

@@jjjjjjjjjjjjjjjj454 Cheveruse literally explained all the good reasons why an "eye for an eye" is not a proper way to handle things irl. Plus, the fact that Morris's kids/loved ones would strive for revenge, causing a chain reaction of resentment through generations.

That cutscene and overall event was just enjoyable. It almost feels like we're watching the movie as we're filming it and as it's happening. They managed to juggle the different stories and ideas a lot better in the quests than in 3.7's TCG storyline.

From where are you stuck at? Because I remember at some point, you had to do some quest involving Charlotte to continue with one of the quests. I beat the entire thing while still in AR 25
