Ei has lived far longer and if you look back at her story and all she has accomplished/what she has been known for, there is a massive gap in their power. Remember Ei fought an exact copy of herself for 500 years. Mavuika had a short fight with Capitano who Nahida said has similar power to an archon and yet Mavuika struggled a bit. If Mavuika was anywhere near as strong as Ei, Capitano would have been ashes by the time he pulled out his sword.

Zhongli said himself he was subjected to erosion, and Venti eventually just went to sleep. Plus, neither capitano nor Mavuika used their full power. Heck, Capano is weaker than his past self. Mavuika admitted they were about equal as well; it's really not that complicated.

The copium with Capitano is real. First, it doesn't matter what they were in the past. Nahida's comment referred to the here and now. And in the here and now, he is ass and got clapped hard by Mavuika. Straight and simple. You don't need to take my word for it, homie said it himself multiple times in different ways throughout the quest. They admitted that Mavuika wasn't going all out and capitano is PHYSICALLY weaker than his past self. But without any details on both their full potential, it's only safe to assume at their peak, they were both equal. Still, it doesn't matter because he got worked by a human archon who was pulling her punches. So my original comment stands, if capitano tried that shit with Ei, homie would have been minced meat within seconds. Don't get me wrong, Capitano is my second favorite Harbinger and it was disappointing to see he's so bad but just gotta swallow the facts sometimes and keep it pushing.

And erosion affects the archons differently, so I don't get your point. And what are you talking about? I'd say physical strength matters in a sword/fist fight. Didn't say he was stronger either. In fact, I said the opposite. And how was "clapped" exactly? Mavuika sensed something strange in him before he was taken away, implying he was about to do something. It's heavily implied they are equal. The only reason that punch even connected is because he rushed head first. Whatever makes you feel better, though 😂

Not sure though IF, we ever get Capitano as a playable character. Hoyo kept secret Natlan till today so leakers got what they deserve so far. Although, get to meet also with Columbina in Natlan.. sounds not so reasonable. Except if Capitano be revealed as Mavuikas father and that fight was just to test her will and strengh for what about to come. He is wounded but i think he is also dying imo. The lore is crazy and i will not give away more cause most might be spoilers.. Lastly i wonder.. where is HER sword and why she didn't use it. Also her glasses that were dissolved might be 1 of those items she mentions later to increase her power?

For the people saying Mavuika won, she never won. People who say she did haven't really watched that many shonen anime. They showed her having the upper hand so they could promote her later for her banner but the Cap was dominating the entire fight. This fight was literally MUI Goku (The Captain) vs Beast Gohan (Mavuika) 2.0 but worse for Mavuika as she lost all her power with that last hit Just like Gohan, Mavuika went all out to land a strong hit on the Captain who was sizing her up while taking her semi seriously (Evident by how much he had to exert kick her vs how much she had to for punching him) and just like Goku who was momentarily knocked outta the fight, the Cap wasn't severely hurt but he was like "w t f was that ? That s h i t hurt!... Anyways." then he got back up again and about to take the fight seriously this time. If him sizing up a full powered Archon isn't worse, then what definitely makes it even worse is the fact that all Fatui harbingers have a transformation. He wasn't transformed while she clearly was, try to put him down, which she only manage for a couple seconds. Considering everything I said, Mavuika was most likely on empty fuel with that punch while the Captain was just about to get serious. If Ororon didn't took him away, things were gonna end very differently.

She did not lose her power in the fight, she lost it by sacrificing it to the sacred flame after. On the contrary it was capitano that was injured and weakened as was stated by Mavuika, the traitor and the Fatui agent at multiple points. Cry all you want, the game tells and shows us he lost.

Not really. This fight certainly didn't fell like MUI Goku vs Beast Gohan to me. Mavuika still broke through the Night Kingdom though so you could high ball her and Capitano as higher dimensional, a very different concept than just the Plane of Euthumia that functions more like the Hyperbolic Time Chamber and actually not even Ei can break out of it, she simply has mastery of her consiousncess there. If she was as strong as Mavuika she wouldn't fight herself 500 years in there, she would punch it and get out like Mavuika and SSJ3 Gotenks or Evil Buu did. Also MUI Goku and Beast Gohan are both 5D, so they are in a whole different tier. For now it's clear to me that Mavuika is slightly stronger than Capitano. Maybe Capitano will get buffed the following years though, noone knows.
