I named my little guy rex, after my older rabbit. He's been sick for a few months now and we'll probably have to care of him fulltime until the end of his life. So learning about the ingame rex being sort-of-sick aswell gave me some feelings. Hopefully we'll be able to help the little saurian :)

It feels unreal to see bits of my culture in a game that has a special place in my heart, the music, the vibes, the story? I'm loving it so far! Glad you are too dish. Edit: 3:55:00 I will say though, the other nations DO care about The Abyss, Makoto's solution was time travel/time paradox to stop the monsters in Inazuma, there's the Forbidden Knowledge in Sumeru, etc. Natlan was just the most affected by it.

⁠@@sunglassfrog89to be fair, Durin was an absolute beast that took on both Venti and Dvalin solo leaving them both so badly injured they had to sleep for centuries to recover. Which eventually caused the Stormterror crisis and left Venti badly weakened, to the point the God who once sheared massive mountain ranges into flat fields was easily the weakest Archon of all Seven.

id say in other nations a regular citizen doesnt rly care abt the abyss, like no ones knows whatever the gods and archons are doing anyways and only the authorities seem to care abt the abyss at all, thats why its so.. jarring? in natlan to see everyone rally and send troops to fight the abyss, its so bass boosted

​@@herondalessit's matter of npc writing, Mondstadt actually deal with abyss, every character story quest have something to do with abyss. Inazuma got protected by Makoto. Sumeru & Fontaine affected by abyss in different ways, it's forbidden knowledge and elynas, they all from abyss. In Liyue archon gathered Yakshas and Adepti to protect people, Mavuika didn't possess such power and authority, so she gathered people to fight the abyss. That's the difference

I named the baby tepetlisauri, "Itzi". I tried to look up some Nahuatl names, and found that Itstli(i think that's how you pronounce it) means "Obsidian". These tepetlisauri and Obsidian are both related to lava, i named it Itzi, as a play on the original word Itstli.

Natlan is soo vibrant and has such an infectious energy! Exploration mechanics, landscape, kits, and story so far has been fire! Natlan has given me a son and a daughter (Kachina) and went out of their way to make me as protective of them both as possible, then managed to make me even more protective of them both. Plus the Lil Buddy quests out in the wild are so cute it’s almost painful

2:37:30 my brother has autism and he learned how to talk through movies in terms of the tones they used when characters delivered lines. He usually repeats the lines over and over again but sometimes there would be specific lines he repeated CONSTANTLY and were the stims he used. For about 6 months, his stim was the Mike Wasowksi scream 😐 we would literally be in Walmart, movie theater or the doctors office and he would scream “YAAA OHHHH” at any given moment.
