crazy run, i just started getting into running dh2, and i was wondering if you could make a video going over the routing for emily here, i know youve said the old tutorial for emily is pretty similar, which it is, but theres definitely some routing thats different that doesnt seem significantly harder than the old routes, just faster. thanks and awesome run!

in 1928 ceara 'cearadeth' deth completed his first speedrun of dishonored 2 emily any% back then of course hegel hadn't invented the computer mouse, so he had to direct emily and do leaps using a sharpened piece of wood, he set his first record in the game a year later, at 15:06:35 in 1939, just as world war 2 was breaking out, the speedrunning scene for dishonored 2 was revolutionised by the invention of the "computer screen" by thomas aquinas, suddenly, ceara could see the game he was running! rapidly the record was lowered from his prior time to 15:06:33 in 1989, the soviet union fell, and with it was delivered to the west a secret piece of soviet speedrunning technology known as 'bottle skip', this lowered the record from 15:06:33 to 00:20:13 in the coming weeks and months finally, in glorious fashion ceara 'cearadeth' deth produced the first sub 20, immortalising himself as the first speedrunner to ever bring any game below 20 minutes, wow!

It was done in the day before's rekky but not before that - it's a strat from 2017 that's just too risky to really use normally, but it saves upto 10 seconds, it saved about 8.5-9 here :)

Corvo can shave off another 10 seconds easily and have some time to spare, emily could shave around 10 so I think corvo is still faster with these routes :)

Hey! just decided to try and learn to speedrun dh2, and had some wacky questions. Do you have to play on any specific difficulties to have it be a recognised run? I think the lower diffs give you more mana back per potion, so I was curious. The second question: would you recommend trying to do a full mission routes first, or learn specific skips/leaps first?

I would learn mission by mission and play on easiest as that gives you the most drops and more mana from pots indeed :)
