That's a case of excessive or lower ph, use the PH paper, and make sure it turns green, the color will never change. Checking the PH is critical on the manufacturing of dishwashing liquid, you don't just mix ingredients. Regards.

HI Ben i tried making dish washing liquid all went well up until i reached the stage were i was to add salt the 50ml that I put in 5 liters it turned to cloudy and the viscosity is not that good instead of it being thick it is a bit watery and its not clear how do i fix that.

If it's cloudy, it means there's excessive salt, consider toping up some Sles, and for clarity, put some urea. Also consider checking the PH, it should revolve around 8. Regards.
