Everytime I watch this video, I think when I really took a chance on someone, the ninja bandit of my heart, who would eventually be my destructor and who did burn me really badly the point of death. I was ready to end it all, but this began to play on MTV which then I dropped the the gun and realized that life is never perfect. I know air want not perfect either and granted I made her decision easy the way I was back then. I lived my life and LIVED better than I did with her. But I'm so off guard when I think of her when I know if she need me I would be there no matter what because I loved her and will always love her. This song will always be my reminder that Love can be your strength and weakness all in the same time.

Given the theme of the song I thought that he is talking of drinking alcohol at first but listening to it more closely, i figured that the two lines connected and that made it so much more awesome. I love it when songs break a sentence given that it is done in a smart way.

@passengeruk because they did splits with jejune and christie front drive. dude, they WERE emo. they used to embrace emo, now they hate it yet still make it..or stuff similar to it. whatever you want to think, they were a big part of the emo scene when i was a kid. i remember it well.

@blackops417 Jimmy ARE "emo" but not as its understood today. Emo is very different now to what it was known as in the midd 90s which was when Jimmy were hitting the scene and considered "emo". Their wiki page and the emo wiki page actually gives a good explanation of it.

seriously are you going to judge a band for what other people consider they are or not? they are awesome and if you like them you don't have to worry about if they are or not or mildly are in the emo scene, you should hear Motion City Soundtrack also, at first sight they sound a lot like Jimmy Eat World, and very people put them in the emo category, but they are a very talented band like this one, don't worry about labels, and enjoy this great music! XD

Its not worth getting into the genre discussion anymore with how much is out there.The truth is is that it depends on your exposure to whatever kind of music. For instance. If the only music I've ever heard is metal, and mozart (classical), and then you show me jimmy eat world i'm probably going to think it sounds more like metal, than classical
