I was there, it was amazing. Paradiso is such a beautiful venue, Jimmy eat World is such a great band and 23 is such a pretty song. Paradiso used to be a church so, Holy trinity :)

My 2 favourite JEW songs came off futures, this one and Polaris not to mention other cracking tunes like Work and Pain. Only the last 3 tracks let the album down. Until then I'd say its the best they've done

@letsargueyaaaay the trombino sessions of futures were never mastered, so you can't complain about the quality. the mastering process makes a big difference from the way the song sounds recorded to the way it sounds on the record.

@letsargueyaaaay thats not true. the label doesn't make the album. but sometimes you can hear the label on the album. capitol released all of jimmies albums but they didnt even touch the content untill bleed american got so big. i think capitol reworked the band in a way, and in a way i think jimmy kinda let them. for example, i love love love LOVE static prevails, but their producer didn't squeeze himself into the tracks like you can hear on futures.
