That property is opening up real nice. Looks so much better. Yard Appeal. I was very impressed when you stripped the grapple down and used it in 2 new configurations. Smart move and the Artillian Grapple is a winner here on this project.

Tim! I loved the demonstration of the versatility of the Artillian Grapple. Why I'm thinking of all kinds of jobs for my future Artillian grapple after watching this! I'm deffinately going to spec mine the same as yours. I'm not sure but you might want to close the clamps before disconnecting the hoses so that weight of the clamp doesn't pressurize the hose for easier reconnecting. Thanks, Tim!
@TractorTimewithTim6 жыл бұрын
I want to make sure the clamp is not ‘closed tightly’ which would be more pressure. They reconnected easily, so I think it was fine. Thanks for your comments. The artillian grapple is definitely a flexible and effective tool!

Hi Tim & crew ! I think that was a eastern red cedar as we have those in Eastern Ontario..I took one down a year ago at the Scout Camp & it looked the same.
@allenelmore45704 жыл бұрын
I agree with the guesses on Cedar, and the fact that the smell goes away. We have an even better wood for posts around here called BoisD'Arc (usually pronounced Bo Dark around here) that has a yellow center when it is cut fresh, but basically turns to stone over years of standing as a post and you won't even be able to drive steeples into it. I've seen a lot of posts that were over a hundred years old and still solid. Another enjoyable episode! Sincerely, Allen.

Tim you did a great job I cant believe Christie did not have faith that Johnny could get it pulled out ! LOL But it is clearing up very nice I talked to artillian Grapple and they said that they didn't have anything that would work on a Kioti right now and on the hydraulic diverter he told me that they are going to start selling them as a non return item due to people buying them trying to put them on other tractors other than John Deere or Kubota and trying to return them because the hoses don't fit or not long enough which I understand I will just keep looking I'm going to see if maybe the Kubota maybe close to what the Kioti will need to maybe fit !! Have a great and safe week ! God bless ! Kioti Curt 😁👍🚜

the Brand Name resulted from the slang term Bush Hog.. which developed from " That Thing can hog those bushes down " ( reference to a hog on the loose in the corn.. devastating the corn crops ) this as told to me by several different farmers twice my age from Colorado to NC...and all in between...

What did Christy say, LOL, I am trying to get ready to go to my cousins farm to do the same thing, he has a lot of autumn olive and brush but all I have for my kubota right now is a piranha tooth bar (till I save enough for a grapple) and all it seems to know what to do around here is RAIN, lol. I would be wondering if that one post or the fence was the property line. thats how my North and South coners are all fence thats no longer there but in the trees it can be metal detected . Really threw the surveyor for a loop because posts were removed or never there to begine with . With that being so deep I would wonder if that was at one time what it was used for .

I've mentioned this before .. I have a RED Massey Ferguson tractor about the same size as Johnnie!!! It always amazes me what I can do with this little sub-compact tractor. Red or Green, or orange, I really don't think it matters much, except to the owner LOL, but this tractor size and horsepower rating has to be the best. I finished a job yesterday that needed some strong aspects of the tractor as well as the sub-compact size. This size was the only machine that would work. Truly you can do just about anything with these tractors as long as you take your time!!!!

a good mod for a Bush Hog..is a pop up panel on the back right side. spring loaded. as you back into a sapling, it pushes the panel up..so the sapling stays standing..and the blades cut into it better.. once it drops or you pull forward the spring return the panel. If memory serves me, there is a company that makes a version.

Second. Tim, you need to get a ratchet rake and try that out for clearing brush. Works a lot better than a simple tooth bar. I'm sure they would send you a demo. Guys that own the place are top notch! The ratchet rake would have pulled the brush and weeds out and you could have pushed it to the burn pile. Those small saplings would have come out roots and all.

Not saying this in a bad way but brother you need a flail mower. I'm a kubota guy myself and I've got a b2320 that is similar size and pull a 5ft jd360 flail better than a 4 ft bush hog. I run a landscape and grading company and the compact size of tractors like Johnny has become my go 2 out of my fleet. I can cram my 2320 bota with the flail and 7ft kutkwik on a 20ft trailer to go mow anything. The flails are a lil more pricey than the traditional hog but safety in it can't throw any debris, lays clippings evenly (no rows or piles) does up to 2in plus diameter trees and if you shorten the toplik you can mow and stripe a yard

Husqvarna is the only saw that I will run if I have a choice. Other brands are good as well but I have used my Husqvarna for 12 years and have helped dozens of people in storms maybe hundreds and it always works! I came home on emergency leave in 2011 and ran a that saw for 9 days helping the tornado victims and watched guys with Stihl saws work on theirs while mine was never down. Just my opinion and maybe I have an exceptionally good one but I just believe in it! God bless you and your family! Love your videos 😀

@FishFind30006 жыл бұрын
I’ve only ran stihl I’ve used a husky but only buy stihl. One thing you also need to contented with is just cuz you buy a good brand you still need to take care of it so that stihl owners maybe have just let there saws sit with fuel till it goes bad and never use it till it’s an emergency. You can have the best product but if you have a shitty owner it’s not gonna last.

When you are working the tractor hard like in the video, why do you run at low rpms?. There was a couple times the tractor almost stalled out running at low rpms. @TractorTimewithTim6 жыл бұрын
Then you would see me raise the Throttle, right? Well, in our case it is for noise control. Very difficult to handle our audio challenges on Our videos. So, I try to optimize the RPMs on the low side. Again, you saw that I would give it more throttle when necessary.
